A expectativa da parceria de Xu Kai com Yang Zi foi bem maior do que o visto no drama. O roteiro não é o melhor, é focado mais nas complicadas relações familiares, os romances não contagiam e os personagens são comuns e sem nada de especial. A verdadeira personagem protagonista desse drama é a mãe, pois tudo gira em torno dela que é uma personagem, até quase o final do drama, pouco gostável.

O tempo de tela desperdiçado com personagens insignificantes é imenso. A relação do casal protagonista está mais para amigos ou irmãos, pois não há emoção entre os atores que passe o sentimento de um romance. A finalização é insípida e faz jus ao drama.

A ideia do recasamento dos pais da protagonista (após passarem tantos anos brigando, divorciados, mas vivendo na mesma casa), foi interessante. O romance da médica e do bombeiro, também é mostrado de uma forma cativante. A personagem protagonista feminina é muito fofa, pois alterna momentos de seriedade com atitudes muito infantis. A roteirista acertou na criação da personalidade dos personagens, pois cada um, com exceção da jornalista invejosa, esbanja fofura. Apesar do drama ter muitas cenas que levam às lágrimas, há várias cenas cômicas que são capazes de causar algumas gargalhadas.
As atuações convencem e a 'química' entre o primeiro e o segundo casal é muito boa, o terceiro casal tem pouca interação, mas os atores atuaram de forma correspondente ao requerido no roteiro.
A direção, apesar de alguns efeitos não tão perfeitos e de alguns pequenos erros na edição, conduziu o drama muito bem. Ao longo do drama não houve lentidão e o final não foi apressado, ao contrário, a finalização foi bem elaborada.
A trilha sonora é bastante agradável, nenhuma música do drama é irritante.

A única coisa que não me agradou foi a risada da personagem Jiao Li Qiao, pois o som da risada não combinava com o semblante da atriz, tornando a cena pouco agradável.

É uma comédia que faz rir por causa da improbabilidade das situações e das interpretações exageradas dos atores, principalmente, do protagonista masculino.
A história é absolutamente sem nexo. As atuações não são ruins, mas também nada de extraordinário.
A edição do drama é confusa, as cenas anteriores a abertura, no geral, se repetem durante o capítulo. O uso de cenas de recordação é um tanto cansativo, mas nada se compara aos dois últimos capítulos, pois ficaram absolutamente desconexos da sequencia do drama e enfadonho, pois todas as cenas já haviam sido utilizadas no decorrer do drama. Se pararmos no capítulo 28, poderia dizer que o drama nem é a pior comédia, mas com a adição desses dois últimos capítulos ficou forçado.

O roteiro poderia ser mais interessante se as roteiristas tivessem aproveitado mais dos personagens, mas os personagens são fofos, faltou equilíbrio entre roteiristas e direção na finalização, pois alguns personagens nunca saberemos o que aconteceu. O diretor pecou, drasticamente, em não ter o cuidado de envelhecer os personagens, pois o drama se inicia em 2011 e termina em 2028, num lapso de tempo de 17 anos os protagonistas não mudaram em nada, nem mesmo o figurino. O ritmo do drama no início e no meio é muito bom, mas nos capítulos finais (principalmente os três últimos), fica insonso. Acontecem muitas coisas, mas ficam subentendidas.
A cena final, que deveria conter uma carga emocional falando sobre o 'nascer do sol' e que juntos estariam até o 'pôr do sol', a cena, visualmente, ficou bonita, exibindo uma linda imagem de um pôr do sol, mas a junção da narração com a cena não produz nenhuma emoção.
As atuações não são ruins.
