I want to watch this but am so hesitant because of the length. Shorter length is one of the main reasons why I watch Asian dramas over Western TV. Is it really fast so it doesn't feel like it's too long? How quickly were you able to watch it?
Yes, he's awesome. He can be a terrible villain in a drama or a lovely and naive character in another one. Moreover,…
He's incredibly versatile, I agree! His portrayal of antagonists was what originally won me over since I tend to like actors who can play them well the best, but when I saw him as the good guy, he plays it perfectly too. I also really love how even his villains are vastly different, not the same stock antagonist prototype some actors go for.
I haven't seen any of these and, with the exception of Chicago Typewriter which is on my PTW, have no intentions of doing so.
I also dropped a good amount of dramas in 2017 though: Mad Dog, My Wife Is Having an Affair This Week, Ame ga Furu to Kimi wa Yasashii, Cheese in the Trap, Legal High... etc.
I agree that Yokoyama Yu would make a great JD. But I wouldn't say Heather Duke is the only important Heather. Heather Chandler would need someone fitting in the role. I do agree that there is more leeway with Heather McNamara though.
Disclaimer: I also don't watch many dramas with younger Japanese actors so the ages are off.
She’s awesome! Hope to see her in more projects, especially serious roles. She should stop being typecasted as the “ugly” character. She is pretty and shows a lot of personality!
For six weeks now, this has been one of the highlights of my week and I’m even upset to see it go. I can’t see any other drama living up to this.
This is honestly the best Korean drama I’ve ever seen. Everything about this drama has been refreshing and unique. I will miss these ajummas so much. I want to join a Bokja Club!
Thank you to the subbing group who translated this series and brought it into my life.
I tend to drop dramas I'm not interested in, especially lately. Drama watching is supposed to be fun, and I don't have as much free time as I used to so if I'm not fully invested in a series I'll drop it.
Sometimes I do drop not because I hate the series but because it's not what I'm in the mood for that moment, so those I'm willing to give a second chance later on.
Also: they finally broke up! I’m so happy that this was done realistically. There is no way characters with as different life goals as Won Seok and Ho Rang could “make it work” due to love and having a long history together, and she was awful for pressuring him so strongly and manipulating him into marriage. I think they portrayed the ending of this relationship and the breakup realistically so I’m satisfied.
I’m really not liking how the romance between Se Hee and Ji Ho is developing. But I do like how realistically they are portraying the other two relationships in the series, and the problems that couples face.

Fighting! I hope you get a great role soon!!
