I especially appreciated how they portrayed the domestic violence husband. How she was constantly on edge that he would flip, even when he was being kind, but when he wanted to and when things were going well in his life, he was friendly to her and did things like cleaning the bathroom, cooking, or just laughed off the fact that she got drunk. A very realistic portrayal.
I am so worried about what will happen between Jung Hye and Do Hee when she finds out their children are friends. On one hand, I support Jung Hye’s revenge and on another hand I hope the two kids are able to get back at that annoying bully character.
I hope the ending really means that he is joining forces with them, not that he’ll really be acting against them behind the scenes.
Thank you so much to the team translating this wonderful drama!
I really love all three dramas I stuck with this season, but oh wow this is my favorite. The ajummas taking revenge and the friendship forming between them, the issues like DV and bullying it depicts are done really well.
There needs to be more dramas about ajummas. I can't get enough of this drama.
ikr!! they've been dating for 7 (?) years but she still cannot accept the fact he doesnt have enough resources…
I pretty much gave up on ever liking her character in the last episode. I thought he was being really sweet and tried very hard to get her that sofa that she wanted. He is still trying to figure out his situation with work and finding investors, and I think it's actually smart NOT to get married and rush into that when you don't yet have the financial resources to do so.
If marriage is that important to her, it's important to have that conversation a lot earlier on and find someone to date with similar goals. Sometimes being in love is not enough alone.
Ahhh she really drove me crazy here. He went through so much trouble to buy even the model sofa. And she was really rude to her friend about it too who spent all day helping out.
I felt so bad for Won Seok in the second part. Ho Rang is really just pressuring him too much into marriage when he tried so hard. She needs to either date someone with similar goals or just stay with him and accept that it might take him a while, if ever (maybe not if ever since this is a Korean drama we are talking about) to be ready.
The first part of this episode is hilarious. For everyone who has ever had to go through a meeting the parents scenario and the coaching, you know exactly how it is!
Thank you for this list! I really want to watch some more Chinese dramas but hesitated because of the length of many. I'm awful with long dramas and many of the ones that appeal to me are the really long ones. Hopefully I find one that clicks with me from this list!
There is a group working on it, so I’ll be patient. Translating and subbing takes a while especially for smaller…
Oh, I definitely agree. I have translated in the past too (not Korean or I'd try to help for this) and people can just be really demanding. I mostly commented that so people reading it wouldn't start doing the "subs plssss!" thing and make them less likely to continue.
It is easy to give up when there doesn't seem to be much interest :/
Every week this keeps getting better and better! I cannot possibly praise this drama enough.

“People put their guards down when I look naive. A few of you were fooled too.”
Second episode seems partially subbed and they seem to be working on adding the timing of the subs now.
