From this interview, Cheng Yi said that LLH slowly losing his ability to taste because of the poison ππNow…
Oh no! We're laughing at his antics and lies and missing out on these little details!!
And I'm starting to think it might be an open ending too if him walking off with the white horse is the last scene. We're going to wonder if he left on his own and quietly pass away somewhere. This would be so tragic. π
Forget saving a dollar for every comment 'is there romance' or 'is it bl', I should save everytime LLH spills all his bull****. I would be a millionaire! π€π€π€
Jokes aside, LLH and LXY is a character that has deep emotion. Can you imagine you already moved on from past…
There's a depth to the character that CY is expressing very well in this drama. LLH's struggle of reminding everyone around him to let go of the past, his remorse of how the sect fell apart after he was gone, and him trying to move forward with his current life but yet still being pulled back to his former because of unresolved conflicts. It's a tug and pull of where he wants to be in his current state. And for CY to portray all these emotions where we can sense the turmoil is very commendable. And yet keep the humor is topping on the cake.
CY's facial expressions conveys so much emotions that you can almost 'feel' what his character is going through. From the way he shows his frustration of how his sect fell, and the trying to move on when his old name is constantly brought up, to his teaching of FDB on how to view the world. You can sense all the frustrations and struggle he's internalizing. This role seems to show the depth and range of his acting.
Even though there are comparisons to TBOY, I feel like this show has a more richer and complex relationship building from their little meaningful talks which tugs at the heartstrings juuust a little more
'They should give it a new name, maybe the Revenge Sect'.... π€£
DFB always sound so bitter when defending his 'master'
After watching ep. 20, I think DFB might be on to something. That Zijin dude seems more like he's out for revenge for his hurt feelings than resurrecting the old sect. π

Never seen such a likable liar like LLH π
'you cried and transferred your internal power to my body'
(I don't think DFS has shed a single tear in his life π)
'he has a bad temper so he wears a mask to hide his anger'
(highly doubt he cares how frightening he looks π)
