i don't get it, why is fanfan so disposable ??? like yes he's poor but what has that got to do with everyone using him as per their convenience. the daughter was pregnant with someone else's child so they got her married to fanfan to save the "being family's name", since the sister doens't want him the brother feels he has the right to do whatever whenver he wants to him like ??????

they're both morally characters so I get what you mean. but atp luqing has started to put 2+2 and he's seeing how fanfan ever only either talks about making soup for him or lending money to him esp with how often him asking for money has become along with overhearing his other friend saying, he deserves better luqing who doens't know any better is giving him the cold treatment ? not being at their apartment for days, not telling important things like his birthday, staying outside and drinking with people and then bringing his drunk ass home for fanfan to tend to.. they both need to COMMUNICATE LIKE ADULTS !!

I can't comment if something is definitely going on between the two.. but the way at the cafe table, Wenxi commented, "I'm addicted to 2 things. You and Cafe" referring to Luqing when Fanfan is right there. I noticed, Luqing secretly glancing at fanfan to see his reaction. He's making sure Fanfan is jealous.. but I don't understand why though ? Why is Luqing doing all of this when he's the one being hot and cold with fanfan, when hes the one who keeps fanfan at his apartment when it's convenient for him.. and then the next second, tells Xiaofan to take all of his belongings and shift to the dorm..

While I agree to an extent, I think you're comparing a fictional setup set in Asia to how institutions are expected to operate in the US. Not every police department or crime bureau functions the same way, and unfortunately corruption, bureaucracy, different policing practices, and even societal attitudes can influence how situations unfold.
