i think that what some people tend to forget is that fandoms are made to support and lift the spirits of who they are a fan of, which is why there can be high praise for some actors over others, as well as concerns. so of course criticism will come along the way every once in a while, but overall everything should be taken lightly and be all in good fun, and lately this comment section has not been the case, which is quite unfortunate.
anyway, i just wanted to thank you for looking out for others and speaking on behalf of people who might be too afraid to show their emotions as a fan in comment sections like this. i think your post could honestly be a good start of making this comment section a safer space for people to talk about their experience while watching the show who have been afraid of feeling like they’re being attacked by people who don’t respect their fandom or who they are a fan of. 💕
