Slower than the typical modern romance Asian drama. Good through 2/3 of it. Then, became a series of cliches. The very late happy ending means I did not waste too much time. The actors have some of the best chemistry for a crew that I have seen in awhile. It felt like they have known each other for years. The lead kid was great. Looking for great things from him.
Timeless and cross cultural. Everyone can relate to a relationship that gets "a little crazy!" It is hard to find a good story even in a 50 episode drama. This beautiful story is complete and satisfying in 2 hours. Joy and Tears. The leads and supporting cast are well matched.
I try to hold on when I am this close to the end of the drama. But, the storyline makes me want to drop it. I really love the leads. This is the only reason to keep watching, just to stare at their cute faces with the subs and sound off!I can image a better story that doesn't piss me off. I know: Crazy.
it seems weird for him to be second lead, doesn't it after his amazing work in The King's Woman. I like him as…
He and Dilraba are with Jaywalk Studio, the production company owned by Yang Mi. Her husband Hawick Law and Veng Gao, the beautiful white hair god from 10 Miles of Peach Blossoms , is signed with Yang Mi's studio. Many of the Peach Blossoms actors are with that studio. A few supporting actors are in this drama that come from Yang Mi's company. The articles say she is pushing Dilraba since she is hot right now. I assume she wants to see her with other leading men and not just Vin.
I like the leads and the child actors. Much of the dialogue seems like fillers in a lot of scenes like they are really trying to stretch this out. But, I will keep watching. The storyline has a lot of potential and it is still early.
Hi. Can you tell me whether or not it there are any couple that end up together at the end ?
Sort of, but, nothing enough to satisfy a viewer looking for the typical romance drama. This one is dark and follows closely with the original French version.
This is still intense after watching it many years ago and now. This shouldn't be the first kdrama movie to watch. But, it should be on everyone's list, if you can handle the violence. I can't say enough about Yang Ik Jun the male lead. He is extremely talented and makes the role look real. It's clear why this movie transcends international lines and became an award winner in several countries.
This review does not provide much insight to a new viewer. Giving a score of 4 because you disliked the storyline is acceptable. But, scoring low on the other categories (eg., acting, cast, music, rewatch value, etc.) without explaining the rationale for each is really not justified.
I think as Ms. Min saw the car which took choi eun seok, so she knew all along eun seok is with Seo family. Maybe…
The kidnappers remembered the father coming to the school in the local town to give a presentation to the students. He was a successful business man at the time. So, the female kidnapper recognized him and remembered his name when she saw Ji Son in the back seat of their car. They knew the Seo family the entire 20+ years.
