I don't understand two points :
1. Does ML want to be part of FL's study group so he can use her to cover his scandal with his celebrity girlfriend ?
2.Does he want to marry her because of his promise to his grandpa by marrying smart woman ?

yeah , true. I noticed that male centric one is different than female one . I'm really glad that this drama is not marked as big ML or FL drama.

Thank you so much for the explanation . Your comment encourages me to watch this drama. For the recent drama, I meant sword and beloved especially and for blood river , I watched couple of eps . I'm not fan of one lead or one gender focused dramas , that's why I asked.

I think my comment was kind of emotional , that's why I missed some logical points that you mentioned . You're right everyone are sensitive to rejection and especially the ones who went through it before . I believe maturity comes from life experiences and it could be part of personality acquired due to various external factors. It's true being childish has nothing to do with age. I really root for these 4 women and I hope they'll get the attention that they deserve .

Is this male focused drama ? For novel reader , does it have happy ending ?
I just want to make sure that I won't end up watching a drama where FL has no importance and with bad written romance arc and horrible ending like a recent drama.

I don't know why this show makes feel sad for older women ,who want to date younger guys. The guys in this show are not teenagers and they're grown men above 25 for sure . Women are above thirty for sure and they're not at grandma age. However, except bon hee, other women are kind of insecure and I don't see the vibe of independent mature and full of self-esteem woman . Men in this show are kind of childish and no one of them except the chef gives the vibe of maturity or reliability .
I think reaching that age for woman should have given her more confidence when she tries to start a relationship even with zero experience.
I hope they'll be some changes in this show because if it continues this way , it would be a disgrace to these women .

She is one of my favorite, however , I feel sad for other two female contestants . Bon hee looks the youngest one and she looks more confident comparing to other two female contestants, who try to act in cute way . Males ,no matter how young or old they are, they always judge women by their appearances and they're always attracted to women who challenge them . This show is the living proof .

First time watching li yi tong was in demon girl and from then she has been giving excellent performance especially in the legend of condor and DWAD .Simply ,they were great actors in bad written drama. Hopefully , we'll get better upcoming dramas

It's another type of cute funny and entertaining drama. If you liked watermelon and lovely runner , you'll definitely like this drama.

Yeah , I noticed that there was no real empathy when he killed her . OMG ❗ The details are horrifying 🫣 It's really painful to be sacrificed for someone like that . Rumu showed the emotions of real love , which was supposed to be seen in ML's character. Anyway , I'll stop watching male focused dramas for famous actors and I'll stay away this production team . It was nice to read your comments and I hope I'll read your comments in better happy dramas.

Honestly , I was traumatized by that scene and I had never watched a drama where ML killed FL under the pretext that it was for the world peace unless he is psycho . Actually, your comment made me realize that pavilion became homicide scene and unfortunately the writer made ML a psycho . It has never been any kind of good special relationship between them because as you said they would have fought together like his parents and I can't believe that I was justifying ML's attitude . I can't believe that I invested my time and my energy to realize that I watched this kind of story .

It wasn't a romantic love and it's understandable because he was raised to focus on cultivation and his mission as soldier . If you watched it , you would understand my point. However, if you want to watch it , I think it's better to watch with mindset that they have special relationship , but ML can never give her the same love , which she has to him or the love , which we get used to see in romantic dramas.

I have never mentioned anyone and I have never said chinese actors in particular, I meant actors in general from the whole globe and what the wrong is if someone chose to not do romance or kiss scene , they're human after all. There was an actress , who said she has salive allergy , that's why she does't do kiss scene and another actress who has no kiss policy . Another hollywood actor who said that he doesn't do kiss scene out of respect to his wife . I think any actor should choose the genre that he or she is comfortable in . Cheng Yi is a good actor and I have been watching him since love and redemption. His drama genre choice is not for me to judge or to speculate the reason behind that . For me , actor is a human and I'll only judge the drama or the acting , other than that it's not my business.
