Omgg same!! I’ve never expected this strong chemistry. I thought they would be kinda awkward but now I can’t…
Haha I saw that too. He bumped his head lol I think he was shook Ara opened her mouth. I’m not ready for this drama to end. It can be 50 episodes and I would still watch it. They need season 2!!
Tbh I never expected any chemistry between Jae Wook an Go Ara. because of age gap, because of different looks…
Omgg same!! I’ve never expected this strong chemistry. I thought they would be kinda awkward but now I can’t help but ship them. I think Jae Wook has a crush on Ara lol he always run away after a kiss scene. They look at each other with heart eyes tho not gonna lie my heart flutters so much looking at them. They have the most chemistry with each other <3
Wait wait so rara and eun seok didnt getvthey are fimiling a commercial?
I’m not sure if it’s a commercial but it’s definitely not a real wedding. It’s for their business plan that they presented to the ahjumma club. That’s why Ha Young and Seung Gi were annoyed when Jun came and the grandpa smiled.
When discussing their age gap, Jun said he'll take care of Rara and he winked at her, then Rara replied something…
I think she was referring to the time when she was hospitalized and he took her to that same place. At that time she said he doesn’t have to worry about lending her money because she will definitely pay it back and then winked like Jun lol. He didn’t believe/trust her that’s why he laughed so she’s saying she feels the same as him now.
Is it just me that repeated the scene when they were walking in the street market? It was a short and simple scene but so beautiful. From the lighting, the slow motion, the new OST (the ost for this drama is amazing), to the smile of love on their faces. It’s so pretty...
I think we shouldn’t overthink that wedding scene too much. At first I was really annoyed but I’m sure they did it just to confuse the viewers and to tune in for the next episode lol (which I don’t like but it is what it is). I love every other part of this drama so I hope the current viewers don’t let that 1 scene change their ratings and thoughts. There were a lot of cute scenes in ep 12 and in ep 11 the grandpa’s love story was so sweet. Looking forward to that beach scene and Rara’s possible rival(?) next week! Also loving the OST especially Elaine ‘I’ll comfort you’ <3
I started this drama at the same time as TOTNT but I ended up dropping TOTNT after episode 5. I'm usually not interested in musical based dramas however I started this one because of the main actors (they're so cute together). TOTNT on the other hand is a fantasy/action drama and it is one of my favorite genres but something just felt so off? All of the hype and promotion from the photoshoots and interview felt so promising but after the drama started it died down while DDSSLLS kept getting better and better each week. DDSSLLS may seem "cliche" to some people but I think it was done so perfectly. The age gap between them shouldn't even be a problem because if it was the male who was older no one would have a problem. The drama is surprisingly unpredictable (to me) and very enjoyable to watch. Even the side characters are great. Overall it's a charming drama so I recommend watching 3 episodes before dropping.
Lin Yu Shen really surprised me in this drama. I had my doubts because I've never watched him in any other shows before and the age gap was quite large. However he really proved me wrong he's even better than those young and tall actors lmao. He's so good at delivering his emotions through facial expressions and the romance scenes were 100/100. I hope to see him casted as the main lead more often. It would be great if he did another drama with Zhao LuSi but that's only in my dreams... TT
The first 15 episodes were too good to be true... the last 9 episodes were filled with unnecessary drama and misunderstandings. SN had way too many scenes with LJ's brother and it made me kinda annoyed how she was way to understanding of him even though they barely knew each other. Tbh I'd rather see LJ's rude mother more than the brother. The kiss in episode 21 was very disappointing. In the behind clips you can tell they put in a lot of effort and time for that scene so I don't know why the director even made them do it in the first place if it was gonna be censored. Anyways I am grateful for the 1 minute behind clip of the kiss because the final cut was less than 30 secs lol. The chemistry between SN and LJ is definitely a 10/10. LJ's eyes and every facial expression were so clear and romantic. I felt like his love for her is a lot deeper but I understand since SN is so young and her personality is very bubbly. I wouldn't mind if they were to do another modern drama together. Lastly, the remaining 9 episode's editing were so choppy and it felt like important scenes were cut out. I recommend watching it though because the couple is way to good to miss out on!
This is for people who keep complaining about how the ML looks too old https://youtu.be/ZM6FDp0_494 I think he was styled a lot older because of the story line and it honestly doesn't bother me at all. I don't know why people are missing out on such an amazing drama just because of an age gap. He looks so young and fresh in this new haircut tho!! Patiently waiting for new episodes....
Episode 2: After watching episode 2, it's okay to ship them as friends/couple. I don't see sibling interactions.…
Episode 3: Loved their attempt to bake bread. Woo Shik is naturally so cute. He even made a shade for Ppoppi and gave him more freedom. Episode 4: Yoo Mi and Woo Shik's temple stay was so funny and adorable. When they went to the beach to get fried chicken on their bicycles, I was so jealous. I wish it was that easy and convenient to commute around my city TT. Episode 5: Yoo Mi buying McDonalds because Woo Shik kept mentioning his cravings was so sweet of her. When he drove the motorbike with her they seemed really happy hahah overall every thing is just so cute and relaxing to watch. PS, Woo Shik's sleeping problem's are fading and he's sleeping a lot more! I am not sure but they seemed to have matching/couple items like the Apple Watch and sun glasses (it could be sponsorship). I thought it was really funny when Woo Shik did pull ups and he kept going around her to hear her compliments. She said "wow, your shoulders are wide!" LOL and when Sun Gyu was joking how Woo Shik is weak and has small shoulders she said "no they're not small" too adorable...
I just finished this drama and I'm surprised at how much I actually enjoyed it. It was different than the few other j-drama's that I have watched. I liked the main characters bond and chemistry. They were mature and it wasn't cringe due to unnecessary "kawaii". Although the ex-bf had a lot of romantic scenes that the ML could've had it was realistic. Anyone know any j-dramas that also have this vibe?
