There was a tiny moment when I thought that maybe he is not a psycho, just traumatized 😂 Especially when he clocked the abusive boyfriend quickly. But now we know - he recognized one of his own 🙂

What's his deal is tho? They make it seem like he has been "stalking" her for some time with how he says patience is the key. And we had a flashback of him with some lady, but it can't be her, coz their age gap ain't big enough like the the flashbacks... no? Is he like projecting his mother onto her? Fuck me, this is confusing 😂

Plot wise and set up really good first episode. We have both bestie and the student mystery going on, Luo Liang is a hot doctor who pays maybe a little bit too much attention to Yan Ling 😅 Sus but hot, good for him 😂

What made me laugh - I get that Yan Ling and Leilei were besties, practically sisters, but these flashbacks scenes got far more "about to get married, crazy in love, basically honeymoon phase" 🤡

Do I have any theories so far? NOPE 🔥🙂🔥

I mean Why R U was his first real project and since that role mostly just required longing in the eyes and heart eyes when they got together, he did fool me into thinking he is a good actor. But sadly, that's all he can deliver 😅

They did not see each other in years. Again... weird to risk her life hoping he might be right coz he knew the dude when they were teens.

OR the money is actually from Li Huai An alone, and he is using General He as a way to hide it. He wants to help FL because he likes her.

OR the money is a trap. After she gets it, they will spread that information in the village so everyone knows. And then they will send assassins again to kill her when her guard is down because she believe it's all solved now, and then blame the death on a villager who wanted to steal the money he heard she got.

Like there are other explanations for it, and there is no logical reason why ML would assume one is more probable or reliable than the other, reliable enough to risk her life.

But why would ML risk her life and safely coz "maybe that part was not a lie and it was true, maybe she will be safe now". There is a lot of assumptions that can cost him her life. He had no reason to just think that part of her being safe was true, and all the rest was a lie.

Li guy told it to FL as a lie to make her feel safe and not disclosed her family's involvement in biggest schemes and the evens from 16 years ago. ML knew it was a lie.

Well he is then dumb. Because to trust she will not get killed on a "feeling they are the same way of thinking" is dumb 🤡

He knows he got the letter, he honestly has exactly ZERO reason to trust they would truly be safe. And if he just trusts it because reasons, he is dumb 😂

General He sent the letter and told Wei yan Leave the girls alone. < oh and was he also kind enough to sent a letter like that to ML? Coz I don't think he did, hence there is no reason to think ML would know the assassins are not after FL anymore 😂 Why si everyone bringing a different scene that ML never witnessed as his reasoning, when he DOES NOT KNOW about that conversation 😂 he is not a drama viewer like us to see what villains are saying to each other 🤡🤡🤡

After that ml confirmed with his spies that Wei Yan called off his assasins back. < was there a specific scene when ot happened? coz if yes, my bad I must have missed that. Could you tell me in which ep it happened?

She was risking her life to safe you, and yet he thinks she would be waiting at home and not risking her life to look for her sister, whom she does love more 🤡😂

NO 🤡 He has no idea it was said and that whomever is behind the assassination had a change of heart 😂 All he knows is the assassins were instructed to kill them and get the letter. And there is no reason for him to assume now they will just... not do it anymore.

ML does not know that. all ML knows is assassin said - kill the girls, get the letter. There is no reason for ML to think they are safe.

no... it was explained he was supposed to find the letter and kill the girls, to quote the drama itself "I was ordered to kill the Fan family's daughters and retrieve the letter". the assassin said it straight to his face: kill the girls, get the letter 🤡

no... what they should do was written aa better reasoning for him to leave her behind other than "I want her to be free and explore the world" MY DUDE SHE IS LITERALLY HUNTED DOWN. She won't be exploring shit if she is killed 😂 The issue is not him leaving her behind, but the reason they wrote for him to do that. And all the following reasons for him to not reunite with her.

He places a lot of faith into a chance they would stay together, when that's also not logical. Because Wen Kan has t do his shit related to his work, and FL would not just go around at his pace when she can do more searching alone 🤡

And it still does not explain why he would leave her in the town alone in the first place, when he knows that's the place assassins looked for her twice and there is no reason to think they would not try 3rd 😂

Disclaimer: i love the show, up till now it;s still a solid 10 for me. But I also love ranting about shows so 😂 one does not excuse the other 🤡

I am starting to get REALLY frustrated with Xie Zheng. His brain has literally no brain, no thoughts, no firing neurons when it concerns Fan Chang Yu. And not in the "so mad in love cannot think straight" more in the "it seems like I truly do not know shit about the lady I love" way. Too many times now there was no reason in his reasoning.

Like when he claimed "as long as she is safe" as he left her TWICE, knowing she is a target of someone of a high status as they used the fucking most fancy assassins squad to try to kill her. And dude be like: she will be okay staying in her house THAT THE ASSASSINS KNOW ABOUT, without me, alone... with just her sister. Yes sir, you are so smart 🙄

And then this backfired and she was in massive danger and her sister got kidnapped. And they by chance cross paths again and what my dude does? LET'S HER GO AGAIN. SIR, YOU ARE NOT IN FACT THIS BADDIE THAT YOUR PRESENCE WILL CAUSE HER MORE HARM. She is already in danger and target. YOU KNOW THAT. How the fuck would he come to the conclusion she would be safer away from him? 🤡

Then the scene when he said she must be waiting in the town for her sister all anxious - full on delusion lol. Do you not know your woman at all? Do you truly think she would be chilling in the town waiting for a miracle? He should know better, that the moment she knew her sister was missing, she would go on a rescue mission and not just stay at home waiting.

Then he heard about the Northwest Pig Butcher Squad and went like: naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah it's impossible it's her. WHY THE FUCK WOULD IT BE IMPOSSIBLE? LIKE THIS NAME LITERALLY SCREAMS IT'S HER 😂😂😂😂
