There are few overly exaggerated reactions especially from side characters that just exist purely to prop up the main romance. < as someone who was a popular kid in middle school and a bit in high school, yeah people do not scream and want to take pictures with you 🤡🤣🤣🤣

As always, amazing review. And yes, the representation of girls in this one was just... painful 😅

it gave us a popular ML falling in love with a not-so-popular ML in a way that isn't cringey, but it was endearing AF! < omg yes. Also they made it make sense. Often these "popular-unpopular" pairings either have insta love for no reason, or falling in love with the other person simply coz they are not interested.

“Four Heavenly Kings” being fun and "normal" and not fancy assholes like F4 was so refreshing to watch. Dramas often have this - good looking people are assholes, only these that are so poor they are borderline homeless and good looking are good. So seeing 4 good looking guys also be normal was great 🔥

I also see a lot of feeds folks (me included) gave the same rating 🤣

Thank you, writer, for making them a bit more realistic and being aware of the unlikelihood of them actually, with different interests/pastimes/personalities entirely, being friends if school hadn’t shoved them together for convenience! < I didn't even think about it when I was watching, but you are 100% right. They knew about each other's existence, since people kept grouping them together, but it's true that unless something external literally put them in the same space, they would most likely not become friends on their own.

They didn’t make a spectacle of him which I’ve seen happen in plenty of shows where an outsider is brought in, whatever the context. < omg yes this. Too often the group acts like the new person is a shining new toy and not just another normal person...

I watched it with Jojo and legit we both went: there is no fucking away they ended it like that Jojo laughed so much seeing me search for after credit scene when it was not there 🤡

FL who is not afraid to speak her mind, stand up for herself and others, and pretty much a green flag herself < this was probably my favorite aspect of the show. The time when she confronted SML and later her dad were probably the highlights of the whole drama for me.

I found that romantic (though not super professional…LOL). < sidenote on The best Thing I see 🤣 I actually really liked the TCM here, coz even if there was a lot of it, they did not push it to the realm of fantasy like claiming they can cure cancer with it 🤡

You can have a green flag without making him into a boring character. < this is why I actually liked him the best in his pity messy era before he let go of his grievances in terms of the accident 🤣

I think the romance aspect would have benefited from a longer runtime to feel more fully-fleshed. < for sure. Honestly, I would be fine with even one more episode between ML coming back and them ending up together, tho two would be preferable. Coz while I get and understand how their feelings changed or how they realized their feelings, I wish the transition would be more smooth ...

Noble idiocy was honestly on a next level here, it made NO SENSE. Not even a little bit.
The characters were not acknowledging it in a way that made proper sense. < facts, they were really chill about it. But for me more shocking was how Jeong In kept talking how he slept with Lee Il Jo and even suggesting a threesome with Lee Il Jo and Jeong Han - that's a lot of Sweet Home Alabama 🤣

Not gonna lie, I think watching it with other people definitely adds to the entertainment of it. I watched it 2 times in a group watch and I had a lot of fun, but at least to some extend it came from the chats and interactions with people I watched it with 😅

It is true there is little to no plot, and we don't even get a proper closure at the end 🤡

do you really think that's going to happen? < no 🤣 which makes it even more annoying. If they at least gave us after credit scene of them during 10dance... or literally anything that would give a closure. Because as you said, the movie was as much about the dance as romance, if not more. But they somehow partially gave the closure for the romance, but not for the dance. It's just not satisfying.

even if the reason for them to work together is a bit forced. < this is such a typical set up for a YA/teen rom-coms from like early 2000s, I loved it 🤣

Not gonna lie, when the movie ended with that title screen and the voice over saying "10dance" WITHOUT ACTUALLY SHOWING 10DANCE I was so confused I started to fast forward that maybe there are some after credit scenes or... anything 😅

Lastly, by the halfway point I was already suffering from political intrigue fatigue. < I had similar thoughts. Personally I think it had great beginning, and amazing last few episodes, but the mid section was "meh".
There were two dragons and several geckos. < literally exactly the same thought. They should change the title. What I wrote after finishing the drama "Sure, Bang Won and Sambong were great, dynamic, driven, smart, but also amazingly flawed. But it’s “Six Flying Dragons” not “Two Flying Dragons”."

I watched it 2 years ago and honestly it did not feel that dated in terms of production.

Ph Thai shipping culture is on a whole new level. Fans don't even give a fuck is these actors are actually gay. They either with their co-stars or must stay fucking forever alone. God forbit they act with someone else in a drama, that's just cheating 🤡🤣

BLs are ultimate female fantasy:
The romance is truly of an equal status since there is not "girl" which allows for many dynamics that we just would not see in straight romance.
But also one the the dudes is always just female lead coded with feminine traits so the women can still put themselves in their shoes 🤣

Anyway, it was refreshing to see both leads in drama actually... be boys with boys antics and interests 🤣

And I was glad he wasn't like your typical "cold ML" who will push you off slides because he likes you 🤡 < same! His awkward side was hella fucking adorable!

Like... these girls were copy paste groupies from Hana Kimi, which fucking aired in 2007. And I mean copy paste, I know coz I rewatched Hana Kimi like few days ago hahaha

It was THE cherry on top for my short rom-com binge 🤣 All the previous rewatches of Japanese rom-coms just hyped me up for some silly shit like that. I guess the timing just worked for 😅

Supernatural Twists < Excuse me, I read the synopsis and there is not even small hint of anything supernatural 🤣
Their evolution from bickering frenemies to a deeply caring couple feels earned and natural. < this sounds like something I would enjoy. I am so not into insta love insta everything., I like to watch the progression actually happen.
