Well, this was obviously written by men. There’s a cold hearted, bitchy wife and a warm hearted husband who just can’t catch a break, the poor guy. I can’t even tell you how sick to death I am of the unrealistic portrayal of women in Korean dramas. Well American dramas too for that matter. The power dynamics are completely reversed.

I do agree that by episode 7 there is a buildup of irritating characters, particularly Jaein, and I particularly dislike the love triangle, but I still think it’s really good. if you think the male lead is too withdrawn, try doing what I did and imagine yourself falling in love with someone who was terminally ill.

My new favorite drama of 2025 so far. This is so well done. I am dreading the ending though. 😢

I like everything about this except FL. She’s super annoying. Kdrama has annoying fl about 75% of the time, unfortunately.
