I would have to agree with kdrama have perfected the episodic feeling. That's why i tend to wait until it's over then i binge watch. 😁
It's also unfortunate that the kdramas ive decided to watch while it's still ongoing for some reason or another made me drop them.

Cdramas usually tend to either drag or just pack too much of an arc in an episode or 2. But i guess ive accepted that. 😭😂
In any case, i would drop a drama if it no longer interests me. There's too much shows to watch and enjoy.

A, just thought of it, maybe it's just cdramas are more accessible to me? Unless a kdrama is in netflix or our local viu, it's hard to watch kdramas im interested in.
Disney+ is expensive here; viki, though i love the subs also have a lot of dramas that are geo restricted, so not worth it.

I think part of syq's charm (???) is that though he's a psychotic little sh*t, he genuinely loves his family. Part of him is familiar to us. He's a carefree unapologetic brat, he does what he wants and eff anyone who stops him. In another world, it would be fun if he grew up with xz as his role model and his older brother.

As for qm, his attractiveness is different.. very pretty and mysterious. It's that dark romance where his romantic interest is the only exception. He is pitiful for what happened to him. But he's already too twisted. It's harder for me to relate to him.

Anyway, just rambling. 😅

But you're right, if they couldve shown him going through the emotions and thought process, i would be able to accept the drama version more. I think that's what's really missing.
