I feel like I'm regretting watching the Japanese version first before this :(. I'm in episode 3 already and I'm liking it, but there's less suspense because I know what will happen, but then so far I am enjoying this as much as the JP version(this includes the less suspense!).
The drama was starting good. Then it all went mediocre. The plot was becoming predictable and the mother was one…
Well, I can't change your opinion about Lee Bo Young's acting but surgery is normal in Korea, you also can't change that fact. You might be new to Kdramas as you are seeing all actresses in the same way. And you might just haven't watched many Kdramas yet that's why you're seeing Kdramas that way. It seems like surgery is a big deal to you? It might have even affected the way you see Lee Bo Young's acting.
It's still too early for to say physical appearance is everything in Kdramas. And too opinionated for you to say that Kim Tae Woo is a double faced character just because of his appearance.
*edit* nvm, re-watched from the start! ramipasu ramipasu rurururururu ramipasu ramipasu rururururu(I can't help but think of this when I see Tanaka Tetsushi)
how is this coming up with an 8.5 review rating when the majority of people posting are disgusted with how it…
I agree the ending was bad but this drama's first half was tooo goooood to be brought down by it(the ending). Atleast that's why I rated it high. Normally people will focus on the bad side but, for me, in this drama, the good side overshadowed the bad side.
I understand the 2nd timeline and I totally agree with AngelaSaRang's explanation about the ending below, but…
The day she(Yeong Gyu actually) got the photo from Tae Oh's house was not the same day she was kidnapped. In both the timelines, Saet Byeol and Yeong Gyu got caught sneaking into Tae Oh's house(this wasn't shown in the 1st timeline but Saet Byeol did say "I followed Tae Oh-oppa to get a signature but I was caught."). She probably went into Tae Oh's house also right then.
Ji Hoon's placing of SB's shoe is for Soo Hyun, so she would be released from the search order. If you are talking about the 1st timeline, Ji Hoon didn't place the shoe at that time, it was the kidnapper who probably did that.
I understand the 2nd timeline and I totally agree with AngelaSaRang's explanation about the ending below, but…
As far as I can recall, the nanny was an accomplice of the kidnapper in both the 1st and the 2nd timeline. In the 1st timeline, she was a trap so Saet Byeol will be going towards her but the kidnapper would be doing his job before Saet Byeol reached her. It's just that in the 2nd timeline, after seeing how Saet Byeol's mother cared for her and her granddaughter(?), she decided to let Saet Byeol escape(notice how Saet Byeol's expression looks as if she was being informed by someone in the cctv in the 2nd timeline)
My take on the ending: I think Dong Chan lived and here is why.....I think the two people in the prophecy were…
Also look at the last episode, in the scene where Dong Ho was sent out of the prison, there were 3 back views of people. One was Yeong Gyu, another was Dong Ho's mother, and the last one who placed his left hand on Yeong Gyu's shoulder is who? He should surely be Dong Chan!

**SPOILER ALERT ABOVE AND BELOW**

I too really wish there is a special.
