kinda agree w this cause it was a bit unbearable for me to watch mondryu scenes as well. not saying ryu's acting is bad cause obviously he tried his best but he's still a veteran so it's lowkey unmatched with mond. still appreciate their efforts tho

fr i think winny’s acting is not that bad but he plays grumpy roles all the time that’s why some people think his acting feels weak. the last scene of ep2 his acting made it so convincing that lava is a kind-hearted and gentle person deep inside.

unfortunately, that summer novel headed that way where lavawave had to broke up because wave had to head back and become the heir (but the ending of this show will prob be more satisfying and less forceful if it follows the novel !

pretty decent so far. the editing, pace, dynamic between characters n the character settings are promising!! not a fan of winnysatang before this series but the first ep n the chemistry got me really hooked!! (except the chopped ahah intro)

ngl so true i love jimmysea n their previous work but this series is lowkey ass 😭 every slow mo is like they forgot to turn on the motion blur, colouring and the editing in general was so unappealing that i had to take a deep breath and continue. also the storytelling was so not smooth and repetitive solely for plot device. (oops forgot to mention the actors were acting their asses out tho!! that's how i got through the first half of the series
