All Novoland dramas just stop. They are just a slice of what is happening.I hate open ending but I put up with Novolands because the production is always so good. Novoland has beat me down so much no longer expect an ending. I just pretend i am waiting for the next book.

It was interesting to watch a very young Weir. Be fore this the young Weir I had know was the buff Weir in "Pin Head" (Pin Anong). I always love Weir and this lead actress also, but it just wasn't as good as the older version. That male lead (serious Fox) was written so much better, however I really couldn't stand the female lead in the older one.

Each series is from a different book or a chapter in a book. Get ready for an incomplete ending. That's just how it is. They kind of drop you into sometimes the middle of a story. BUT the story is complicated and usually excellent. My favorite is Tribes and Empires. INCREDIBLE costumes, cinematography and locations. Filmed all over China. So many great scenes. Excellent villains. My favorite line was when the villains henchman gives the villain back the money and says I can't kill him I am too scared. The villains looks at the guy for a minute and then jumps up and stabs the guys hand to the table with a larger knife and says "And you are not scared of me!?" Fabulous CGI. The wikipedia page has all the cast (i had to use it to keep them straight!) profiles. Very complex story the Emperor and his Empress...their story!!!! Your mouth will just drop open when ...well you will have to see it. Check out the Tribes and Empires trailer.

To me the Candle in the Tomb series is way better because at least there is a coherent storyline. And episode 7 is my favorite. When the general gets it...my mouth dropped open like it was the Red Wedding. But this one is okay.
