"The ending doesn't make me mad"......that sounds ominous. Dang. I don't like untidy endings (I already have life). however as I am watching the anime at the same time maybe the ending will be moot.

Although the on point part was Anime vs Kdrama in that most anime DO have a likeable male protagonist and many many Kdrama go with the trope of poor but beautiful female. My first anime was Alakazam the Great, I was 5. Grew up with 8th man, Gigantor, and of course Speed R. My daughter collected Sailor Moon (I collected it for her) and while my son was watching Neon Genesis Evangelion I watched Tenchi. We all still watch. Do you have a favorite? My favorite has been ' Blue Seed" for years... I have a drawing of Zenki as my background of my PC. so when I bring it up in a college class I like to let the students guess. There is always someone who comments 'old school'

I teach Visual Anthropology and # 6 the caption and the way you cut the pic was excellent. Those close ups made me want to watch in a way the trailer never did. Keep creating

Outstanding CGI, Fashion on point, well written roles, etc. All her reasons are almost listed. Sometimes in reading you have to infer. Example: An empowered and powerful female lead is a necessity and must share great screen time other than just during the romantic sequences! Also, the author led with the reason why it was a gamer changer...the CGI. (did you really read this?) I am thinking that how the female lead was written was one of her reasons....she even makes the point that in this drama the FL was on screen for more than romance. Okay...hmmm maybe I am being a little mean, but really your attack was worst in some ways that the others. They didn't like WHAT was said. You critiqued the writer as an ineffectual communicator...quite the bad burn. However I know you were trying to be nice
I always take the ratings with a grain of salt...so often folks rate after seeing one episode! if they like the stars. So I never believe the ratings until the series is over.
