Yeah I became really sus of him during the later episodes when they were traveling. I started to suspect he was working with the empress and purposedly tricked the princess to go see the empress and hear about the possible rewards for the mission. Then when he showed up near in these past two episodes near the border, that heightened my suspicion of him even more.
