I'm super glad they changed the cast.. This guy really can't act and have no visuals... His acting in Venus in…
"work on his visuals first" is an actually insane thing to say about a person. I understand if he can't act properly yet, which I'm assuming it's because he is new to acting, but commenting on someone's visuals is a low blow.
I honestly love this series. The ending wasn't really fulfilling to me, however. They should have made this series 13 or 14 episodes because, I don't know, to me it felt rushed and I feel like there's missing information that I am going to have to find out from reading the novel. I do kinda like how things ended but some things that bothered me a bit include:
- Boston and specifically Nicks ending. I like that they showed that not everyone has the capability to change with Ton, which shows the alternate to Top who, I guess, changed for the better. With Nick, I love how he chose to love himself before loving others, however, I wanted to know his ending with Dan better. - The whole Boeing thing. He comes into they're lives, fucks with everything, then just disappears? I am glad he did but it feels a bit random. I would have loved to see a flashback to Boeing and Sand's relationship and how TopBoeing came about. - With TopMew, I didn't feel like anything was missing actually. I liked how it played out and showed that some people DO change. I would still keep an eye on Top though...
There are a few more things but these were the main ones. The ending felt wayyyy too rushed. It could have been better. Anyways, I will definitely read the novel once the translation comes out. Great acting, great script, great production, great show. One of my favs this year.
ion know if im ready to watch this lowkey cuz i love onlyoneof so i dont want to have a biased opinion. i might wait a few more days then watch it with fresh eyes.
i really love this so far. the chemistry between the two leads is amazing. the main things keeping me very interested though are: 1. Wanting to see the leads finally date and break the curse 2. figure out and understand mr.lee's angle. like what is his mission. 3. i love dogs and i genuinely can't wait to see how the transformation occurs. overall, good show. love that eunwoo can show us his acting in a more mature roll, minus the whole "jumping on a table because a tiny dog has a big bark".
Ahead of the new episode, I'm just gonna record what I think the ending is so IK if I was right, wrong, or close.
- I think Mew, Ray, Namchueam, and April will stay friends. (I am still iffy on Chueam and April though.) - Sand and Nick will also remain friends, best friends at that. - Boston and Nick will be on okay-ish term, but not friends. - Top and Mew MAY get back together, but that build up of trust is gonna take a very long time. (This is why I believe it's better they go separate ways.) - Sand will get sick of Ray's indecisiveness and leave him completely, with the help of Nick. - Nick and Dan may or may not last, hoping for the former ofc. - And finally: the ex is just a distraction.
Honestly, the finale in 2 weeks is basically no man's land...you never know what could happen.
the trope is similar to addicted heroin (unless i’m going crazy and my memory is going bad). so far, im really enjoying this. the bromance so far seems to be a VERY curvy bromance (or just very “oh the tension and gayness is there). very excited to see how this plays out.
i feel bad for everyone here. it seems like they’re all confused and the way each of them is going about their confusion is just plain wrong. everyone here is in the wrong, minus thian. tai shoulda told phat, london shouldn’t have kissed tai knowing he was in a relationship, and phat shouldn’t have been so aggressive. i get the anger but the way he behaved was lowkey a red flag. punching the dude for kissing ur bf? okay whatever. a lil too much? yea. but screaming at tai and telling him to choose THEN showing up to his house DRUNK then getting aggressive/angry at him because he was being silent or not telling his thoughts was actually crazy. it’s OBVIOUS tai is confused and he already said he loved phat very much. still, this coulda been avoided or just delayed if tai had told phat he had plans with lomfon already instead of lying. all in all, cant wait to see how this raps up. p.s: i feel so bad for thian. he likes lomfon and it looks like lomfon DOES like him back too but he’s just obsessed with this whole first love and soulmate thing.
