its good that its too perfect you have to remember tv series are not real life, real life situation on this topic would be very dramatic. that is why in the beginnign of bl dramas i watched all of them really old ones, they were more drastic so me ended really badly , so as time went see what asian bl drama producers did ? all goofy all acceptance zero seriousness like in 2026 no gay is suffering for being gay or dont have troubles with familly and friends and love life, they dot do that anymore so for gmmtv doing this kind of light "forbidden romance" is still very good .

its not the reason the reason is because kingdom was released by netflix so netflix protected it. People also didnt like Kingdom. Korean Netflix shows are not that good. Korean movies and dramas are great without netflix.
