Has rather amateurish feel but fast action and main leads relationship developing nicely〜 gets better as it goes on with interesting stories and ML chemistry。 having finished I will add it was very good in parts but some parts I could do without like Gong Sun Xin Tang romance。 it seems there is a connective back story but it had odd discontinuities making it really difficult to make sense of (and as season 2 is not produced it seems will we ever know?)。 finally for me it sometimes seemed to turn into parody of police action (intended or not I am not clear)with parts quite comic like the constant ”yessirs!” as they spring into action!will not watch again but possibly look at season 2 if it ever comes〜
great〜 this has very unusual angle in the story, very sensitive, very feeling and happy ending episodes are very short、so advised to watch all at once like a movie。 Taiwanese seem to have very open attitude making their BL/ GL productions very attractive❤️
finally I liked this drama very much〜 at first I did not like the paramilitary episodes and almost gave up but it became considerably better after about one third through as relationship between Xia and Yuan developed and there were enough interesting twists in the story to maintain suspense。 I also liked the side story with Xuan and Wang。 actors very attractive。 they pack a lot into short episodes [after you deduct long musical intro and end 〜catchy songs but take much space] not so thrilled with constant pushing of high end designer lifestyle [we get it] but goes with territory I suppose:this is censored it seems but I was happy with relationship as portrayed absence of more explicit scenes no problem〜
this becomes really more complex than just a thriller as psychology of Lee Dong Wook's character Ryu Soo Yeol・K is explored and will maybe resolve the bad・ crazy split as well as the crime plot?excellent story, acting and production
very good drama that hooked me for its first half though I became tired of too much romance storyline in later episodes I thought slowed dramatic impetus、 however I liked the ending ーvery well planned like most Korean Drama especially clever little touches like granpa Tess finally giving chocolate birthday cake to Soo Jung excellent though not one I will rewatch I think 〜
this starts violent and crazy and stays crazy、 reels you in with the attractions of Lee Dong Wook and keeps you in with suspense and hallucinatory episodes blurring the line between dream and reality 〜 not that original in the sense it's the usual Korean mix in the storyline with corrupt police and politicians naive hero and anti-hero and humor to release the tension and it relies a lot on spectacular effects〜still not clear how the crazy man fits in here but the punishment LDW is put through is a crime against beauty。 more comment as I watch more
Good boy love short series gets a lot into short episodes with story very well plotted and brought together at end. Xu Lan side story of boy openly gay and bullied very good as a serious contrast to the budding relationship of Xiang Wan and Zhi Chen. Edward Chen gets a chance at a broader canvass in this genre in the excellent film:「 Your Name Engraved Herein」 with Tseng Jing Hua which actually is why I followed up with this drama
the epilogue reunion well ties together the movie although I did not find the adult characters visually convincing as grown up versions of the boys。 more important some ambiguities in the ending 〜the take where as adults they pass each other in the Falls without speaking: since this is after their reunion where Birdy turns down Jia Han I assume this sadly means they could not pick up a relationship、 however this would fit the story as meaning one part of life is gone and cannot be recovered but remains engraved in the heart (maybe especially Jia Han as his love seems more than Birdy's);second the scenes at very end with the credits showing the boys in various intimate situations: as the main story focuses on Birdy's inability to accept being gay this seems totally contradictory to what actually happened so do we take it this is shown as what might have been with acceptance to live in the moment ?
great gl film, great performances by young leading actors the epilogue is well done with subtle touches showing change of attitude to gl over 30 years but whatever and whenever love happens memories are engraved in your heart :live for the moment 〜you must watch right to end including credits❤️
I see you as a man means she is attracted to him and she doesn’t see him as a friend. That’s obvious what…
it is a long time since I watched this but as I recall she says this when he is still pretending to be gay and I take "I see you as a man" to mean "I can not believe you are gay" because to me you seem like a man implying that if you are gay you are not a man :but maybe others see it otherwise I do not say I must be correct or anything is obvious
