He expands in emotional quotient.

The allure for me is Dilraba, whose beautiful face reveals every emotion. Enterprising and earnest as the female lead who bounces back with fervent spirit against the odds stacked against her, she plays a confident, effective woman. Her wardrobe is creative and her dialogue sparkles with wit and self-assurance. πŸ‘—

I liked the fashion part of this drama very much with its artistry and fierce competitive aspects. This reveals that ability requires nurture and hard work to develop to its maximum potential. Several people are set out in contrast as using others to achieve success, manipulating circumstances and selling their morals, whereas our brave young woman keeps blossoming and developing in honest talent.πŸŽ€

This was my first time watching the male lead and his rugged good looks. His role impressed me as a business savvy CEO who is blunt but fascinating to watch. He expands in emotional quotient, especially in dealing with females under his watchful eye. I liked the fact that he was so open and an up-front kind of man whose feelings of affection were not coldly or ashamedly hidden.β™₯️

The romance is flirty and good-humored. The storyline is not very heavy on the handling of crisis after crisis, but rather the ongoing relationships which are in keeping with a romantic comedy. I liked the interdependence of their careers. The OST is lovely. Some beautifully sentimental scenes, which are a feast for the eyes, are presented for viewers' pleasure. The cover photo is monochromatic to make their faces stand out, and I came to feel real kinship with this colorful "Love Designer" cast of wonderful talent.

It is legally a romance!

To watch the ending, click on the final "Watch credits" at the end of Episode 33, and it's an epilogue after ending credits.

This was an excellent romance with terrific main leads. The theme was our ethics, moral decisions and life-mapping choices from youth to maturity.

The male lead is a bit eccentric, deeply loyal, very unique, with a strong moral compass. He has a manly voice, creative appearance and authentic character. He keeps his emotions to himself until push comes to shove.πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ

The female lead is smart, skillful, but lacks good self-confidence due to a shattering loss in her younger days. This isn't really a time travel and deals more with premonitions and brain waves, reminding me of "While You Were Sleeping." She overcomes and resolves the issues in attitude which held her back from recognizing her full potential.

It's a touching love story with a decidedly misguided love triangle. The acting of the male lead is a champion caliber in masking his feelings and intentions. He shows vast improvement in how he learns to express his feelings and display his love and affection. So yes, it is legally a romance! 😍

I hesitated to watch it because I thought it might be a stuffy law drama full of court cases with a bossy lawyer and his assistant. It's more like a great university drama dealing with the motivations of law students, and how their choices and paths diverge through adulthood, culminating in their choices of life partners. I'm grateful to the person who recommended it to me as a romance.🌷🌹

A second chance

UPDATED AFTER THE FINAL EPISODE TO EXPLAIN THAT IT WAS REALLY TIME TRAVEL. SEE THE END OF MY REVIEW.

I like Tiffany Tang so I watched this romance and enjoyed this drama. The remarkable Tiffany plays a young college woman over ten years younger and looks so beautifully believable in the part.

IF only I could turn back time! How many of us have wished those magical words? For the female lead, these words come true after she is injured in a plane accident. She gets a second chance to save her mother, her former boyfriend, and meet her husband 10 years ago.

The female lead is pretty, vivacious, forward-thinking, and appreciates her second chance with much feeling. Her lovely face is so expressive in this sweet sentimental journey. I can totally relate to her frantic search for her husband, as I'm certain I'd feel that way if it happened to me. But is knowing the result and using the process a mistake in love? Does love have to proceed its own way or can it be controlled? The female lead has great character development as she learns all about the process that love needs, and she begins to clearly understand about timing and what fate or the universe destined for her.

This is my first opportunity watching the handsome Shawn Dou in a drama with his chiseled good looks and mature acting prowess. I love how the cherry or plum blossoms are part of the romantic theme as they represent a new season of life!

SPOILER:
FOR THOSE WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND THE ENDING AND THAT THIS WAS ACTUALLY REAL TIME TRAVEL, PRESIDENT YI UNDID HIS SEAT BELT AND WAS INJURED BY THE SUITCASE HANDLE PRONGS IN THE FIRST PLANE CRASH THAT TOOK HER BACKWARD IN TIME TEN YEARS. WHEN SHE PURPOSELY CHOSE TO GET BACK ON THE SAME PLANE ALL OVER AGAIN TEN YEARS LATER, SHE ALSO CHOSE TO TAKE THE INJURY OF THE HANDLE PRONGS THIS SECOND TIME AROUND. AND PRESIDENT YI REMEMBERS THAT SHE TOOK THE INJURY FOR HIM PLUS THIS TIME AROUND, HE IS IN LOVE WITH HER AND HEARTBROKEN.

ALTHOUGH SHE IS CONVINCED IT WAS JUST A DREAM DURING A COMA, THE WRITER LETS US KNOW THAT PRESIDENT YI REALIZES SHE WAS ALWAYS TELLING THE TRUTH WHEN SHE SAID SHE WAS FROM THE FUTURE! BEFORE THE FIRST PLANE CRASH, PRESIDENT YI DIDN'T KNOW SHE WAS JIACHENG'S WIFE UNTIL HE SAW HER VIDEO CHAT WITH HER HUSBAND. SHE KNEW HIM BY REPUTATION, BUT HE DIDN'T KNOW HER PERSONALLY. AFTER THE SECOND PLANE CRASH, HE IS CLEARLY IN LOVE WITH HER BUT SHE NOW THINKS HE IS LIKE A NEW ACQUAINTANCE. CHECK OUT THE FIRST EPISODE AGAIN AND COMPARE IT TO THE ENDING TO UNDERSTAND THE FACTS. Yes, the baby is unrealistic, but this is a fantasy drama.

This drama was beautifully done and the gorgeous, statuesque Tiffany Tang was amazing throughout. I also fell for Shawn Dou, and I can honestly say I plan to See You Again in another drama.

A hard-hitting look at the beauty standards of the world

One of my favorite shows is "My ID Is Gangnam Beauty," and I am so pleased that there is a Thai version! 🀩

I love a plot where a man loves a woman for who she really is! Beauty fades with age, but a man who loves your true self is a treasure to be prized. πŸ’›πŸ€ŽπŸ§‘β™₯οΈπŸ€πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’œ

As the title says, the female lead is new at experiencing people who want to be her friends for ulterior motives, because she had no friends before. I can understand that she would be easily fooled, especially by a fake girl who is a compulsive liar and sly fox.

She is like a babe in the woods with an artificial forest surrounding her. How will she navigate her way to find what is truly meaningful? How will she know who genuinely cares about her? We get to see all the secret shenanigans, but all she has to go by are the bold-faced lies in her face and crocodile tears of her so-called new friends. πŸͺž

I think the chemistry twist and the perfume parts are a great variation that show more about the female lead's interests and goals. πŸ‘

I am very happy I took this journey with the main couple. Although I watched the original version, I feel this is a fresh new take, with a male lead who is emotionally vulnerable, dedicated, and is not afraid to show his heart! I like what his heart reveals!β™₯️

I really like how this took a hard-hitting look at the beauty standards of the world, and the female lead learned that they don't have to dictate our life.

The features of trot music are brought out subtly in this drama.

I was pleased and surprised when I found that "Trot Lovers" or 'Lovers of Music" had come to my area of Canada. I adore music and this is a fun musical, full of the female lead singing with her heart in her voice! πŸ’–

Trot is a short variation of foxtrot and is known for its two beat elements. It has an upbeat tempo, repetitive rhythm and vocal inflections. Trot was created during the Japanese colonial period and was focused on tragic lyrics until the 90s with the rise of K-pop. To keep pace with K-pop, trot turned into exciting music for entertainment value. Its rhythm presents sad reality in a fun, lively way using percussion instruments. 🎸πŸ₯πŸŽΊπŸŽ»πŸŽ·πŸ“»

The features of trot music are brought out subtly in this drama. A family has faced tragedy but rises above it through optimism, never gives up, and loves with dedication in spite of all life throws at them.πŸ’¨πŸ’£

I found the love story was typical, but that's what I find reassuring about K-drama. No matter what happens in the world, I can relax in the familiarity of boy meets girl, falls in love, and faces many obstacles which bring them closer together.πŸ™†β€β™‚οΈπŸ™†β€β™€οΈ

I enjoyed the cast, was thoroughly entertained, and reveled in the music. The ending holds true to trot music: upbeat and celebratory. There were some lovely romantic moments as the main couple's lives intertwined.

The male lead had huge leaps in character growth while the female lead stayed true to herself as her fortunes steadily improved, but she remained a good, honest, kind person. I say, give me some predictability in today's chaotic world as I continue to be one of the "Lovers of Music."

In real life, the main actor, Mahiro Takasugi, was only 23 while she was 17.

Ten years difference is nothing when she becomes 20 and he is 30. In real life, the main actor, Mahiro Takasugi, was only 23 while she was 17. I have seen on other dramas that the main couple are playing roles close in age and reviewers were up in arms because he or she is much older in real life so this really shouldn't bother anyone. One of the first Korean movies I watched was "My Little Bride" about an arranged marriage with a 17-year-old high school girl and an older friend who truly loved her. So the idea of such a marriage arrangement doesn't bother me. Anyhow, it is fiction so I thoroughly enjoyed this drama!

Hana is spunky, tall, no shrinking violet, holds her own ground, and gives back to Takane all the verbal sparring that he dishes out. She is the first female to ever stand up to him and getting a dose of his own medicine is good for his narcissistic, spoilt demeanor.

Takane learns valuable lessons in character development; his pride suffers severe blows but his love and protection becomes admirable like that of an older brother, though it remains difficult for him to speak of his feelings. Being the strong silent type, which seems the cultural norm for Japanese men, I still came to adore him and root for his happiness with Hana, a female who is his equal in strong determination and bravado.

I found the romance beautiful because he is the faithful type, and she planted the first kiss, which shows her finesse in that she was up to this relationship. Girls of 16 are highly passionate and love deeply at that age so it's super great that her first love be someone she could love for a lifetime. I personally know two grandmothers who married their first love at age 15 until death do them part.

I liked the friendships portrayed in this drama, enjoyed the scenery, shipped the main couple, was glad there were no secondary couples to take away focus from them, and I thought the ending was sweet yet fun.

It brought smiles and keen anticipation to watch more of this couple's interactions, their cute dialogue and how they would overcome the obstacles to his career and their love story. I would love a second season!

Development by leaps and bounds from his social anxiety

What a delightfully adorable drama which was quick and easy to watch like only 11 full one-hour episodes, and it flew by so fast! The male lead had development by leaps and bounds from his social anxiety. The female lead stayed bold, creative, forged her dreams with his support, and remained optimistic and bright. I found this to be a very excellent romance with skinship and cohabitation.

There were memorable kisses while the main couple maintained their innocence, modesty and fully loved in their relationship. πŸ‘„He thought he couldn't be his best self without her ice-cream, but he discovered, to my pure delight, that it may not be the ice cream at all!🍦🍧🍨 This didn't get bogged down in the psychological issues of his disorder, yet still maintained how love brings positive changes.

Besides the prevalent love story, I reveled in the full impact of the pleasurable panoramas, picturesque settings, and the cinematography of the pictorial scenes. πŸžπŸπŸ– This drama was just as sweet for my eyes as his noteworthy love and support for her architectural skill, her dreams and wishes. 🌠

SPOILER:
For those who seek to understand the ending, their two years apart while she studied abroad passed by so fast as in a dream. I love that the writer and director did not dwell on their long distance relationship part but just gave us photos and snippets of their past times together that they glanced at on the phone. It's clearer when I cast it onto my big screen TV. The drama did a fast forward for us, skipping the part I always find tiresome as a necessary separation for one or the other. She completed her education, he developed his fleet of aviation drones to a precision of control that they made a formation lined up to depict her drawing, and the main couple resumed living in the house she designed that he built atop a rocky hill above the sea.🌀πŸŒ₯🌊

Hot male lead does a superb job!

There are hot main leads, lots of kisses, and full skinship. He loved deeper, longer and bolder. They play the game of love for keeps. This even has a blissful ending.

With a C-drama, there is much drama, but the male lead makes it all work out in the end with his smart tricks and how he protects the female lead.

I didn't like the father and second female lead. However, I noticed that everything turned out to be plot devices in how fate kept working in the main couple's storyline.

In the end, truth is served. This gives me a sense of satisfaction for a very excellent romance. πŸ’–

Huge laurels to the handsome male lead for his magnetic portrayal of a genius yet autistic doctor

The inducement for me is that I have seen the American version of "Good Doctor" so I really wanted to see this Korean one. I found this to be irresistible, in spite of intense surgical scenes which were so realistic that they made me a little squeamish. The medical histories and resolutions were inspiring, heart-warming and emotional. πŸ’‰β›‘πŸš‘

Huge laurels to the handsome male lead for his magnetic portrayal of a genius yet autistic, exceptional young man! He was so disarming with his openness and naivete; how could the female lead not learn to love his sincerity and wholesome, innocent demeanor? I felt how strong her initial reactions to him were, and I guessed it would be a good pendulum indication of how fiercely she would love, care about and stand up on his behalf in the future. I adored the main πŸ’πŸ’–couple although their relationship was depicted as more affection than romance. His detailed accounts of his feelings and body responses to her physical proximity were what I found sweetly romantic. πŸ’“πŸ’˜

This had a magnificent cast, meritorious storyline, moving OST which subliminally taught us to always love ourselves, and an outstanding performance by a male lead. There were many valuable lessons such as what's worth the most cannot be exchanged, and the greatest handicap would be inability to love. This easily deserves a ten or more!

Ugly duckling is an inner swan

It's a funny storyline about a girl living her whole life ignored by her parents because of her spoiled, selfish, lying, scheming prettier sister. Enter the two male leads who genuinely like the female lead for her inner beauty, in spite of her drab, ugly duckling exterior. One says he likes her cute face, and the other says she is just his type! OH, WHAT DREAMY LEADING MEN WITH SWOON FACTOR!

I loved Minah in "Absolute Boyfriend," and here she reveals how truly versatile she is as a comedic actress. She alone could pull off the wig prop yet still be her beautiful self! The writers tell us that the female lead has a significant bald spot because of all the stress she has lived under! Most of her youth, she was having to struggle so hard at a countless number of jobs while her good-looking sister got everything handed to her on a silver platter by shallow parents who only played favorites!

I watched with SATISFACTION when the terrible parents reaped what they sowed from putting all their eggs in one basket so that when the spoilt sister got the results of her actions, they got humiliated! Finally, they did manage to redeem themselves in my eyes.

I have adored Namgoong Min since "Twelve Years Promise" or "Wild Chives and Soybean Soup." I find him gorgeous and so youthful looking for his age. He really pulled off his comedic role in this drama which left me in side-splitting laughter or chuckles many times. He is so obviously jealous when he bothers her on her dates with the other male lead, yet he questions himself why he's acting this way! Codependents are always last to see ourselves while it's so clear to everyone else, LOL.

Considering all he went through in the shrouded mystery of his past, can we wonder why it's so hard for him to KNOW HIMSELF, understand his own behavior and make the wisest choices in love? Yet he endeared himself to me in this role because of his extremely KIND HEART, his championing of the underprivileged and underdogs, and his puppy-love eyes for Kong Shim. He was completely his happy-go-lucky self in capris, flip flops, a glowing smile and his boyish haircut until truth hit.

Yes, I did feel second lead syndrome in this drama, as On Joo Wan was not down deep like his cheating, underhanded, conniving leeches of a family, and he wanted to protect his mother most of all. I thought he did show AUTHENTIC AFFECTION for Kong Shim! However, Namgoong Min saw her for who she really was, thinning hair and all. He even gifted her with a weird selection plus helping her with her stress level. That's how much he cared about her TRUE SELF so his character deserves to be main lead!

Other reviews were negative about her not getting a makeover until the last episode. For me, that reveals the men's genuine love for her inner beauty so that fact RATES HIGH on my love radar. Good plot twists, and there was no wasted time on title sequences, opening credits or previews.

Why does this drama have so much appeal? In everyone's heart, we ALL long to be loved just for ourselves! Not for our looks because they will fade with age, not for our success because there's no guarantee what the economy brings, not for our money because it can't buy happiness, and not even for our smarts because our mind could betray us. JUST TO BE LOVED FOR WHO WE ARE, AS SIMPLE AS THAT. I do believe the dear fair lady Kong Shim deserved that, as well as ALL OF US. That's the subconscious message coming through to our hearts when we watch an ugly duckling being loved for her inner swan.

Frustrating female lead has development stages

The female lead is unbelievably frustrating at first, but it's definitely a plot device, and I stuck with this show because I've been waiting a long time for it to be available in my area! I really like how the backgrounds of each main lead are slowly revealed so I could be very pleasantly surprised! This is one of those rare dramas that gets better as the show progresses.

I thought it might have just boring law cases, but each legal decision is part and parcel of the female lead's development stages, which I thought were very well done! I liked how she had to LEARN to have accurate perception and how each advance in her growth was contrasted with her past. I've never met a female lead that I detested at first, then grew in empathy with so I think the writer did a superlative job!

The male lead is to die for! This drama keeps a viewer guessing about which one she will choose, but I was rooting for "him" the whole time. When we got the slow revelation of his past, I was totally sold on him! This show is iconic in its featuring of two NICE GUYS for the male leads! I don't recall ever watching a show with two nice guys, and I mean really supportive, encouraging, ready to impart teaching, putting her interests and happiness first, knightly, gorgeous, magnetic, and kind!

There were no cold, uncaring leading men in sight, except for two-faced lying criminals, and that's to be expected. I thought this drama was remarkably brilliant in many jubilant ways! It didn't follow any mundane matter of course or common procedure. I could barely drag myself away to sleep at night!

If you want real kisses like in the good old days, this is it. You will even get to witness a young, baby-faced Lee Jong Suk!

Cohabitation and Skinship

Wonderful skinship which is sweet and adorable, this drama has a fake relationship which eventually turns into a real marriage. I loved this romantic storyline because the main couple were touchy-feely and grew such affection for each other. This drama has cohabitation and the skinship begins in the first episode.

Zhang Yu Jian, acting the part of the immature yet famous male lead, is one of my favorites since "Le Coup de Foudre." Here he plays a singer, actor and celebrity who needs rescuing from a major scandal which involves a married woman who is like his sister, mother, friend and manager all rolled into one! At first he seems arrogant and uncaring, but he becomes a loving husband, which is a role he does very convincingly. He displays softening of his character and becomes unafraid to be publicly demonstrative of affection for his young wife. It's delightful to watch their deepening bond and playful exchange.

I enjoyed the female lead, Xu Xiao Nao, as the part of the talented nail artist, and I particularly loved all the creative nail art! It's just amazing to see such rare beauty precisely and artistically produced in this drama. I would watch it for the theme of nail art alone, and the physical affection is a praiseworthy bonus.βπŸŒŸπŸŽ¨πŸ’… The female lead grows exponentially in confidence, status, recognition, emotional strength and patient devotion.

I also enjoyed seeing the second male, Gao Han Yu, from the drama "Flipped." The supporting cast is quite good, especially the female lead's brother. A great line of this drama is: One who injects life into a role is eternal. Very good pacing, lovely OST, marvelous main couple, endearing premise, good dialogue and a bonanza of romance is in it. They have their share of struggles against vicious liars, but it all comes right in the happy conclusion.

AI is now here!

I absolutely loved this exciting and creative drama! Seo Kang Joon is gorgeous and just amazing in this role, playing both the human and robot, with totally opposite personalities. He depicts the lovely innocence of the robot with an adorable sense of play and wonderment. Plus he portrays the embittered, calloused human son with cruel and suave, devil-may-care attitude.

Gong Seung Yeon's beauty shines through much better here than in "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency," and her eyes are vividly stunning. I like that she is skilled in self defense, strong, proactive, bold and she doesn't take injustice lying down like a doormat. Yet she is willing to change her opinion when she discovers she may be wrong or made a prejudiced assumption. 🌹🌹🌹

This drama deals with advanced technology, such as self-driving cars and artificial intelligence which evolves to make critical judgments, decisions about life and death, and to feel human emotions such as love for your mother or another person. It is a science fiction genre so I prepared to have my feelings immersed and emotionally invested in a robot. πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–

This has superlative action sequences, lovely travel to Czechland, tremendous cast, captivating storyline, good plot twists, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed this fantasy romance.

Bingeable in ten hours

Some medical dramas are prototypes of blood and guts which are not for the queasy and faint-hearted like me. This didn't make me nauseous. Some parts dealt with somber aspects, but the pleasant female lead made it more upbeat for me. The male lead is a tsundere all the way through, but we get real glimpses of his hidden depths, caring, and his secret smiles. πŸ˜πŸ€”

Only a particular type of personality like the female lead could be fully understanding and have tolerant acceptance of his characterization and idiosyncrasies. That's why I shipped the main couple and thought she was a good match for him.πŸ’πŸ‘«

I highly enjoyed this because there wasn't an overload of fillers, and I didn't want to miss a second of this drama, even when the credits for each episode vied with the crucial lines that tied up each episode. It was easy to watch in less than ten hours, yet I was fully entertained with no doldrums.

It has an excellent romance with good skinship. I have to wonder if hospitals are such hotbeds of gossip like their wards. I did have smiles and some laughter at the ironies and the way the male lead played the strict role against the female lead's gag lines. It definitely is a good romantic comedy whose plot is reminiscent of "Mischievous Kiss" and "Playful Kiss" for me.

I liked seeing the cities of Tokyo and Osaka. I liked the beautiful young cast, and the love story unfolded at a good pace! 😍

I thought it was great how much the female lead grew and developed in her career. Her character and thoughtfulness shone through, and I could perceive why men would fall in love with her generous, warm heart. I call it a sweet ending, although there was a sacrificial separation thrown in, but no real time was wasted dwelling on a long-distance relationship. Overall, I thought it was well done for a medical romance.

Does she deserve this fate?

This short drama reminded me of a 2006 movie, "Last Holiday," with Queen Latifah, but this involved much more. I was pleasantly surprised with the storyline. It is also a case of switched identities.

I enjoyed the storyline in how she decided to finally live for herself! I liked that the main leads were intelligent and skilled in their own domains. There wasn't too much angst. I found the ending satisfactory. The female lead was beautiful inside and out, and I felt she was very deserving of how fate turned the tables for her.

The male lead was a likeable guy, not cold, aloof or male chauvinistic. I thought he was quite supportive and devoted.
