I so so so wanted to love this drama and, so far, I’m so so so disappointed.
I won’t comment so much about the acting (Li Yun Rui I’m loving, the others I’m still watching) but what’s with the script and directing?!
I thankfully watched Princess Agents so I understand why the scenes shown are so emotional but we are being thrown so many supposedly heart-wrenching scenes about characters that viewers have never met! How can we understand why it’s so painful?
And the entire tension about Zhuge Yue being presumed dead is resolved super fast and turns into some bs hide and seek?!
And what about the fact that basically all the schemes by Chu Qiao, including the rescue of her comrade, end up disastrous? She is supposed to be a stubborn but intelligent character, this is just nonsensical.
I really hope it will improve once all the background stories have been shown and we can have a better paced main plot.
Don't understand how this is a sequel if the plot is the same as Princess Agents?
It’s not the same plot. It shows the reunion between Zhuge Yue and Chu Qiao after he falls in the lake. Some of the scenes that are from the “previous” Princess Agents will likely be flashbacks (especially since not everyone has seen the original). If you look at the novel you see clearly that ZY falling into the lake is the midpoint and there is still half of the story.
They look similar actually, but somehow I don’t see that trope here. Doctor is shady though…
Yes…I was even wondering if she had a crush on FSG and then got traumatized after seeing him killing so many people? So far she’s the most unpredictable character
Sigh, why another love brained, obsessive, delusional princess with not much intelligence 😒
Not liking her (the character) so much now but I can understand that she’s been too well protected and is young and naive and a bit petty. I’m expecting lots of suffering and growth for her…
loving it so far. the two leads are both really strong, vicious and strategic, as fitting of their characters.…
From the trailers of ep 6 and 7 it also looks like they still clash now that they have decided to cooperate, which I really appreciate. I mean, ok they are now partners but years of being on opposite sides and having different goals are not erased overnight…

Don’t ask me why, he feels sleezy. And in the blurred vision of the FL when she falls off the cliff the face shape and hairstyle seems like him.
Hoping not, as he seems to be the only genuine friend (not subordinate) of the ML.
