I read some updates from japanese tabloids. they are currently filming 3 sequel movies at one go, which will normally take 6 months, but due to covid, the filming period is now dragged to more than a year with several postponements (osawa takao also injured last year during filming so some scheduled filming had to stop). They also need to arrange alot of things to shoot in china bringing cast n crew amidst covid. some netizen opinions says it might release End of 2022, but it might also get delayed to 2023, because at the moment, filming of several scenes for 2nd movie has not been completed yet.
Idol Romance / Fresh Drama's subs are bad, its like lazy edits of automated subs, and from Ep3 onwards its just the messy auto subs (actually it looks worse than auto subs), better wait for VIKI subs

Lol, I also dont understand why they suddenly become sworn brothers, they just met. Couldn't they go through life and death situation together first before they swear to be brothers? But I'm guessing the book is also sudden like that. DGSD is not my fav, but a Jin Yong wuxia drama is better than any other recent wuxia drama and I miss good wuxia, so I'm watching lol

Just skip the first 13 episodes, Duan family soap opera really made me fall asleep. Finally Qiao Feng's arc starts in Ep14 and things start picking up! I'm enjoying this! I think Tony Yang does a great portrayal of Qiao Feng. Yeah, fights are meh (Dragonball fights haha). But I like the styling, costume and also the music score and how they use the music to build up the tension. The cast are decently good actors too. I can't wait for Xu Zhu, the Shaolin monk's arc to start too, my fav arc. So far I really like all the wisdoms that Shaolin masters teaches him.
