Could the Night King be linked to the elements? like... it's able to change the climate and trigger typhons, earthquakes, tsunamis, whatever natural disaster on the planet? There was that ball that the villain studied, it fell from the sky. So I was wondering if that Night King, once released, can alter the Earth and the Sky.

I wonder what happened to the half of the young Zhangs (now adults). Two of them seem to hate the patriarch for their parents's deaths. I thought he had freed them from the Tanshiou? Although, maybe once free, they didn't know how to live in the normal world and died as a result?

Okay SPOILER 🚨 So uncle 3 and Xie Lianhuan switched places to reveal the plans of the 10th Wang Clan who have…
I love being spoiled so I don't mind spoilers. I have started to look for info about this series, and I read that the Wang are composed of... basically treators from the other 9 families? So basically, anybody could be a Wang.

That makes unmasking them difficult. It's not just one person, but lots of persons from the 9 families who have joined secretly the Wang and betrayed their families and the Mystic 9, am I correct?

Damn, too bad about Uncle 3. And Xie Lianhuan, dead or alive?

Also, I hope we will get an aswer as to who the Zhang shoulder guy from UN is. He was constantly masked so maybe it was someone known to the characters?

What about Chen Wen Jin, from UN? The last time we saw her, she was running into the asteroid jade tomb, was she the crazy one we briefly perceived at one point, having already turned into a zombie? I mean, there has to be a real ending for this character. I keep wondering about her, but I doubt her ultimate fate will be explored in this drama.

I still wonder what Zhang Qi Ling saw in that tomb that terrorized him, he is not the kind of guy to get scared easily.

So UN ends up on a cliffhanger, right? And this drama is the direct sequel to it. For those who haven't read the books, like me, do you think we will learn about the real Uncle 3's whereabouts? And about fake Uncle 3, too? Why they switched places, who or what IT is?

No, it happens a lot in comments. There are many people who are refusing to watch a drama if the freaking actors…
Well, I saw some posters throwing pedophilia accusations when there's an older male/actor with a younger FL/actress. Fans are THAT crazy.

I remember a youth drama where the actor was 20 and the actress 16 and there was outrage because she was a minor so they shouldn't have paired the two of them together.

Never mind that it was for a role, that the actress was chaperonned and that there wasn't even a kiss between the two characters. He was 20, she was 16, that was borderline pedophilia and we, fans, were on board with it according to raging MDL posters.

Why do people freak out when it’s an older FL with a younger ML, but no one bats an eye when it’s the opposite?…
No, it happens a lot in comments. There are many people who are refusing to watch a drama if the freaking actors have an age gap (male actor being older than the female actress). I don't see what's wrong if there's an age gap, personally.

But to say that no one bats an eye... try going to threads where not just the characters but actors have an age gap in real life, to see that there are plenty of commenters here who hate that.

I remember watching a costume drama where the actor was in his early 40's and the actress in her early 30's. And yet, there were posters here on MDL ranting about the age gap. Especially since, according to them, it was "obvious" that the actor was in his 40's while it wasn't apparent that the actress was in her 30's.

Non of the so called zhangs are good as far as i remember. In the book, so far written, WX will have hard time…
Does that mean that this series won't have a real ending, if the book was never finished? Unless they got the ending from the writer, like the guys from Games of Throne?

Not a lot of activity here. Too bad. So far, I'm really loving it. The sets, the cinematography, the actors, and apparently, knowing more about Qi Ling (he seems to have a lot of scenes compared to the other shows, unless I'm wrong?).

Anyway, what if there's another twist, about the good guys and the bad guys? WL theorized that the bad guys are the foreigners and the good guys the Zhang clan.

What if... the twist is that the leader of the foreign gang, the scientist, wants in fact to save his sister from an unknown illness? And what if the Zhang gang doesn't only want to beat the King but wants the heavenly staff, to challenge Qi Ling's position as leader?

I have just watched the first two episodes, what's with the tape of the ML with long hair at the asylum? And the woman there, too?

QiLing is very old, he only looks like a teenager, he was already grown up man, when he met the old monk, when…
I watched a video on YT, to try to understand and the theory (or was it the truth?) was that his mother wasn't a Zhang but had been a... sacrifice offer to the god of death so half his blood came from the God of Death through his mother.

And that was why he was stronger than even the other Zhang members of his family.

But that doesn't explain the recurrent amnesia.

That is an interesting take 🙊 Kind of echos with part of the premise that OG Timeline Sunjae was too mentally…
I think he was exhausted and still in physical pain with his shoulder. That's why he wanted to stop.

He still loved to sing, that was obvious in the concert in the first episode. But it's an exhausting life, and one where they aren't afford to date or fall in love otherwise it becomes a "scandal".

That's not an healthy way of life.

The reason why I never believed he would commit suicide? Because he SAVED the FL from suicide. And he had chosen another path after this last concert, meaning that he wanted to do something else with his life.

And he still had his father. His father only had him, no other family. Would he destroy his father's life and heart by committing suicide? I don't think so.

On top of that, if I'm not mistaken, there's a problem in Asia in general with suicide: way too high suicide rate. So I don't see the ML going that road. But evoking, even lightly, that this showbusiness life was taking its toll on him, physically and mentally, yeah, that's possible and even desirable. TV shows, movies, or books are good conduits to put the light on a problem.

Sadly, I don't think this will change anything in Asia. Small steps, maybe?

In a future episode, when the FL mentioned his depression and the medications, he told her that those were rumors…
There was a huge controversy at the beginning of the drama. A K artist had committed suicide a few months earlier? And his fans were outraged that LR scenarists would write such a story based on this artist.

So they tried to get the network to cancel LR. But many of us had found the doorbell a hint to something more sinister. So there was a lot of fans defending LR, saying that it was a murder and that the FL would time travel to find the killer to prevent him from killing the ML.

Turns out, we were right. Once it became clear early on that the taxi was suspicious, and the mentions of other murders in the reservoir area, the controversy seemed to die down since it wasn't a suicide story.

In a future episode, when the FL mentioned his depression and the medications, he told her that those were rumors…
Fans who were watching "live" guessed right from the start that it wasn't suicide. Just before his first "death", we can hear someone ringing the door. 99% chances that it was the killer.

Everytime the ML died, it was because of the serial killer. Once the serial killer dies, the ML is safe.

since yall harrassing me for saying this drama is not original since yesterday let me add this. this drama is…
My, talk about being dramatic, the worst drama in the top 50mdl drama? Yep, you're dramatic.

Going overboard won't change the fact that this drama was a huge success in SK despite not being heavily promoted, and that it got a great ratings here on this international board.

You're in the minority, you should just accept it. If the majority was like you, the drama wouldn't have an above 9 rating here and wouldn't be one of the most surprised successes of the year in SK.

Honestly! There are plenty of dramas that I don't like. I don't pollute their comment sections with my anger and dislike. It's bad for the health to stay that angry over a freaking drama.

No, I'm not obsessed like you, I was just rewatching that drama while on holidays and came here to see if there were news about a Bluray release and I read stumbled on your hatred-filled posts.

I think you are having a mental issue. Sane people would hate the serial killer and not his victim who ended up in a wheel chair.

Consult. You're an unstable person and I'm blocking you, life is too short to deal with deranged people on the net.

Watch my history post, you'll see that I barely posted on this topic.

Also, she dreamed of being a director. She loved to watch movies a few times a day. I supposed not having watched the drama, you missed that point and kept repeating the "no career or goal in life" line, showing YOUR obsession.

Also, she spent 10 years in a wheelchair. She was an active person (Lovely RUNNER, I guess you missed the point of the title) who at a young age saw her life crashing down. She had to adapt. She had to accept. Her legs were gone. Her dreams were gone. But yeah, that's SOOOOO EASY to do, right? Hell, it's more admirable how she got her life back on track with her spirit intact while being handicapped, than the dozens of traditionnally beautiful, career oriented, healthy and successful FLs in other dramas.

Good lord, you have more posts on this topic than me and I like this drama!

And even so? If he was told before hand that saving her would mean him dying, he would have still saved her. Not just because he loved her, but because he was a good person and it was the right thing to do.

He died because of a crazy man, just like the other victims of that serial killer.

Sometimes, it just takes being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
