No, I'm not kidding, why should I? She is a hard working woman, betrayed by her friend, trying to save her little company and she isn't either desillusioned with the world, or angry with everyone.

She has hopes, and she has some kind of deal with the ML's father to bring the son back. How do you suggest she do that, from afar? She has to be near him. And after a while, she starts to see his point of view and helps him with his tea adventure (episode 6).

She is honest. The ML's father even told her that she could desetroy the little tea plantation and he would cover her. She is desperate, selling her stuff to pay her only employee and save her company and she goes to the tea to do that... only to not being able to do it and instead to help the ML.

That's part of the journey of the FL. And the ML even knows that. I honestly don't find her annoying, teenage like, or know-it-all, or femme fatale.

Okay, I have seen the first 4 episodes and I confirm that this drama is absolutely charming and the FL lovely. This is not what I expected from a rom com.

The FL has this barbie-esque car, all pink girl car and in any other drama, as a 25 years old (I suppose she is 25 ?) with such a car, she would have a girly voice and a teenage attitude. Not here, the FL behaves as a normal 25 years old young woman.

She makes a deal with the ML’s father and when in episode 2, the ML realizes it and confronts her, she admits it readily : no secret dragging on episodes after episodes.

She bets with the ML that despite wanting to live like a monk, he is a man with desires and he will fall for her. She says that after he watches her put on her sock and shoe (more precisely, noticing his eyes zooming on her legs). She is not afraid to flirt like a woman while not being a femme fatale, and he is not afraid to lean on towards her, making her think that she is already winning (not yet, young lady).

I have the feeling that this couple will be very, hmmm, affectionate, if you see what I mean.

Okay, I only watched one episode but it's very promising, from my point of view. The FL is adorable and the actress playing her is pretty but not in a conventional way. She played in General's Lady, for the ones who might wonder where they have seen her.

The FL had a horrible, horrible day, which impacted the ML who as a result had also a bad day. Some parts were quite funny.

The ML has family problems which caused him to turn into an hermit. But the reason is a mystery. The ML's father seems to be funny.

I don't know where the drama was shot but damn, I want to visit there! If you want a drama taking place somewhere exotic, then this is the drama for you. At least for what I have seen.

Each episode is around 30 minutes.

This drama has a certain charm, either you'll love it or you won't get it and drop it, I think.

PS: a shower scene with the ML within the first 5 minutes. And apparently, there's more... hmm, skin contact in two episodes than other dramas in 24 !

PS2: the ML is in danger when the FL is around, she is a Miss Catastrophe.

PS3: the FL's car, oh my god, it's awful, in a funny way.

I posted early on that the Empress being the villain was so cliché and I hoped for another twist and oh boy, I soooo didn't see that one coming! And believe, I'm usually quite attentive but this time, I completly missed it. I had to come here to read spoilers (I love spoilers) to discover that she was evil. What a great drama so far!

Yeah, I agree, I would prefer if SJH had his own agenda, but I don't see which one. I mean, he's obsessed with the princess. And the scene with the blood on his lips was rather telling about his mental health and also a hint about his future: blood and insanity.

We all have different taste. I tried Hidden Love because it was so recommanded. I tried twice to watch it. It didn't click with me. For WIFTW, I also didn't like it the first time. But since I was on holidays and a bit bored, I tried it again and this time, the magic worked. I liked the group as friends. I liked that it stared in 2012, and the 2012 end of the world part made me laugh, I had forgotten about the crazyness surrounding this date.

I love the grandmother/grandson relationship. How the grandson hoped to walk for a long time with his grandmother, while knowing that their time together was getting short.

I loved that the SML was adult enough to accept without being a drama queen that his doctor parents were going on a mission to help during a crisis, even though he was still a teen and was missing them.

I loved how slowly, step by step, the FL conquered the ML's heart which was closed since his parents, and especially his mother, had destroyed a bit of his soul with her behavior and how she had driven the two brothers apart.

I loved that the FL was both a teen, and also someone who was able to discern problems and worked to solve them (like with the ML's brother).

I loved the friendship between the girls. It felt real. In fact, the whole friendship group felt real, to me.

Lyon has been hell these past 3 weeks, and especially those last days. I'm glad I'm not there, to be honest. Because temperatures reaching 40°C for 5 days, that's so dangerous for people like my father and my sister, who have a fragile health. Hence we spend august generally in the Alps. The air is not polluted and since it's in the mountains, we don't suffer as much from the heat.

France and the south of Europe have been suffering from heatwaves and fires, this summer.

I live in Lyon but i'm currently on vacation in the French Alps (thank god for that, the fresh air of the mountains means we're not suffering too much from the heatwave hitting France and other countries right now).

French here, I started it out of boredom but I fell quickly in love with this drama.

"Flourish in time" is one of my favorite. Cute FL and a ML with trauma (he has a physical handicap and family troubles).

True. I don't find the ML very attractive but he can act and the story is very intriguing. What really happened 5 years ago, and was it really the Dowager Empress the guilty one? or is she protecting the traitor? Who is he, or she?

As I said, I don't watch many youth dramas. Hmm, I remember one, "Meeting you", where the ML had some kind of psychological issue. Or a rare illness that made him sensible to crowds, or noises. Or maybe he had a form of Asperger? And raised by a single mother, I believe. I don't remember well but it was a good drama.

Yeah, I rarely watch youth dramas and when I do, I prefer more serious ones, with more trauma like "Flourish in time" or "Forever love". But this drama is cute and fun to watch. To think it wasn't even on my list to watch !

Oh, I hope someone will post somewhere, it would be nice to watch this drama without the chinsese subs.

To each its own. I don't think it's better than WIFTY. I had been waiting for that drama and it's the 4th one this year to disappoint me. Where I'm bored. On paper, it has everything I love. On screen, it just doesn't click with me. I feel like an heretic for posting this here.

Damn, I don't have Netflix! is this version good? I mean, I watched it with english subs but there were chinese (I think?) subs, too, which couldn't be removed.
