Just watch until you don't enjoy it anymore lol.
haha I'm gonna keep pushing through since it's way too early for me to judge so I'm gonna watch the rest of what is available to see if I like it.

So I don't know either of the leading actors or main couple as actors so it was the first time I've seen ML and FL but this was a very interesting idea and I only watched ep1-2 and it was very interesting but something about the production or acting seemed a bit... off? Like I'm enjoying it but I'm not sure if I should continue after ep 2. Thoughts?

I wasn't expecting to like the trailer as much as I did? Usually Thai vampire (or mostly vampire BL) in general is super cringe and campy but my lord the trailer actually looked SUPER good. I just hope they continue with the high quality production value and dark theme they're going with in the trailer. Usually vampire theme dramas (in general) are either really cringe with horrible CGI and terrible acting or just overall either too romance oriented or bad (I'm looking at you " My Golden Blood trailer) (as a side note I'm not trying to hate on My Golden Blood trailer even though the show isn't out yet, but its looks really campy and a bit cheesy in comparison this). There isn't an in between and I REALLY hope they can balance dark series themes with the sprinkle of romance. Jesus the overall feel looks REALLY well done for a vampire drama. I haven't felt this intrigued with a vampire drama since Vampire Prosecutor and that was AGES ago. I've seen my fair share of vampire dramas from all around (Jap, Korean and Thai) and nothing really gripped me as much as Vampire Prosecutor since the rest were all REALLY romance heavy and cringe/outdated. This SEEMS to be VERY promising so I REALLY hope they can do it right. I must have seen the trailer about 4 times now and I can't get over the wonderful CGI for the eyes. JESUS I can't wait.

THANK GOD TO THE DIRECTOR FOR THIS SERIES. I usually don't like Thai BL since it's over the top and weird, overly dramatized and cliche with mixed acting and not my cup of tea but holy lord I LOVE how grounded this show is. EVERY episode is such a treat since it's so real and raw and not overly dramatized like all other Thai BL. I love how natural this seems and the chemistry, pain, anger, sadness and insecurity between the MLs and main couple is SO well written. I was not expecting this to be good. I went in with low expectations since Thai BL is all over the place but my lord this show literally saved my last interest in Thai BL. The raw authentic struggles of each character is WONDERFUL and can we all just appreciate how this show is for what it is? I'm DYING for the next episode. We need more shows like this and thank god for proper representation for the visually impaired.

Can we all agree that Song Kang is killing it with this role? After SH2 being a bit of a let down I'm glad to see that his drama is doing great before he heads off for his service and my GOD THE COSTUME DEPARTMENT NEEDS A RAISE. Song Kang is so handsome in EVERY OUTFIT. I personally really feel like this role is a great fit for him.

Also side note, how on earth did they manage to make a tango scene funny yet sexy? Honestly that was hilarious and the highlight for me. I'm so glad I have this to look forward to on Friday. I'm hoping the rest of the show keeps this momentum up! FRIDAY COME FASTER!!

Didn't read all of your comment, but from what I understood Ji Soo wasn't infected or anything like that. The…
she's been infected since season 1 if you can remember. She bleed from her nose and almost attacked the residents in the apartment. It was why she was so scared going through inspection in this season since her cut on her hand should have healed but didn't because either she was holding bank or PURPOSEFULLY hurting herself but pressing on her wound (where she had her surgery on in season 1) to bleed to slow down her healing. That's my theory anyways

Title Sweet Home Season 2 Spoiler
Thank you for expressing this, I was extremely frustrated while watching and tried to convince myself that nothing…
exactly! I was really confused as to why there was so much focus on the crow platoon and not much on Hyun Soo. Having more focus on his character as either a martyr or fighter for the monsters would have been much more interesting. If you ask me they should have either added 2 episodes with hyun Soo or cut the crow platoon weird science lab stuff and focused more on his character or what he was up to during the time skip. I still love the concept and thought that until episode 4 it was pretty good but from 5-7 it took a nose dive since there was too much going on. The trailers made it seem like there was going to be a huge show down between Hyun Soo and liquid man but the fight was cut off right when things were getting interesting. Same with ep. 8, we were left hanging right when things were getting interesting with Hyun Soo and his odd behaviour and strange attraction towards Eun yoo. Like it would have been interesting when he said " What should we do? What do you want?" and the way he was leaning in towards her, could have suggested he was interested in her (like perhaps to mate with) as a way of survival or weird obsession (his monster side I mean). We saw something similar with liquid man when he was remembering Park yu Ri (asthma girl) from his hosts memories. It seems the hosts memories of their loved ones (asthma girl for the gangster and Eun Yoo for Hyun Soo) is what is either keeping them from going berserk or saving what humanity it left so I could see Hyun Soo's monster side being oddly obsessed or possibly wanting to kill/use Eun Yoo since she's attached to Hyun Soo and they have a weird attraction towards each other from season 1.

Another question I had was with liquid man. His host Sang Wook in season 1 died but his memories of his crush Park yu Ri did something to liquid man. He was trying to find another host in ep 1 but couldn't leave his body or heal himself. So does that mean Sang Wook is still conscious in his own body just like Hyun Soo and is keeping liquid monster in there and not allowing him to leave or is liquid man now permo stuck in his body since he's dying? Again so many questions left unanswered that I just hope season 3 does it justice.

Title Sweet Home Season 2 Spoiler
After watching and coming from such a banger of season 1 to season 2, I have to say that I'm honestly disappointed. I was really looking forward to this but sadly I was left unsatisfied, confused, angry and disappointed. There were too many unanswered question, unnecessary characters, lack of build up and proper explanations of the clarity of where the story was going that dampened my experience with this season.

Firstly I feel like all the characters (especially our green apartments group) were not given the justice they deserve. It felt like the writers were killing them off for no reason and some characters that died in the drama survived in the webtoon. Jisu and the poor little girl were done dirty this season and, although I haven't read the webtoon, I read that they survived in the webtoon. Jisu dying isn't clear either; we know that she's infected based on season 1, so did she die? We don't know since her actress is listed in the cast for season 3 but Jisu herself wasn't healing properly or perhaps stopping herself from healing when she was being inspected (holding her side when she was bleeding to perhaps hurt herself to focus on the pain to stop herself from healing or was it when the boy was pressing on her injury when they were fighting on the bus?). Overall I'm confused. Most of the main cast didn't have much growth and instead regressed. Jisu in season 1 was fierce, strong and sympathetic, however her character is mostly useless in this season except for when she killed the boy on the bus. Although it is understandable given what she's been through, the sudden character change in the main cast threw me off. Jisu became catatonic and useless, Lee Eun yoo suddenly started caring for her brother, when in season 1 she hated him for unclear reasons (in the webtoon she was kinder and younger) and our poor cutie Cha Hyun soo was missing for 3 episodes.

I wanted to see more direction and clear writing on the plot. The sudden time skip from episode 3 to 4 was like a whiplash and it isn't completely clear how much time passed but clearly long enough for Hyun Soo's hair to grow long again and for Yi Kyung's daughter to grow but again IT ISN'T CLEAR since her daughter grew SUPER fast after being attacked. I don't expect hand holding from the writers but the constant skips and back and forth of character's trauma (Eun yoo attacking the husband and Yi Kyung with her daughter) really falls flat due to the unclear mess that we as the audience are left to "figure out". I personally would have loved to have more focus on the time skips instead of the residents of the auditorium and the dumb crow platoon. Most of the soldiers were, frankly assholes, and I didn't really care about them except for Park Chan Young since he was actually trying to help the poor mom with cancer and her mentally ill son. What was Hyun Soo up to during the time skip after he was taking care of Yi Kyung's daughter? It was very sweet to see him take on a guardian role so showing the viewers more of that would have been great to show his growth into an adult and his acceptance with his monster side. Hell even making him a messiah to monsters or pseudo leader for the monsters (like Kankei from Tokyo Ghoul) would have been VERY interesting. We see that his eyes changing = his monster side taking control and the first sign was BEFORE the time skip with liquid monster during their little shopping spree in ep. 1. So was Chyun Soo making a deal with his monster side and training during the time skip? (it would explain the so called deal his monster was saying the Eun Yoo in ep.8).

The lack of a TRUE villain in this series is what irks me. At first the audience believes it's Pyeon Sang Wook (liquid monster is what I'll call him from season1). But it seems the writer's wanted the viewers to at least empathize with him after his torture during his captivity then he completely disappears for half the entire show only to show up at the end with a metal leg. What happened to his leg? Why did he save the doctor at the end? Was he doing it to kill the doctor last and enjoy his revenge? who moved Yi Kyuong's fiancee's body from the lab into the tank? Mostly like Pyeon Sang Wook but still ... NOTHING WAS CLEAR from the writers. I can understand that they're trying to save the "good stuff" for season 3 but man this is just plot holes and confusion for the audience.

There's just so many questions we're left with: what was the deal Hyun Soo made with his monster self? how did he get out of his petrified solid stated after the fight in the lab? What was Pyeon Sang Wook doing the whole time and what happened to his leg? Why did he just leave Hyun soo alone after being so obsessed with him? What happened to Jisu (is she really dead?) Is Lee Eun Hyuk now evil after being "reborn"? What happened to Lee Eun Hyuk after she was attacked in episode 1 and coming out of her cocoon? There's tons more I could list here but the lack of direction is horrible in this season.

I wanted to see more fight scenes between Hyun Soo and liquid man. And more experiments being done on Hyun Soo. Hyun soo is supposed to be a "sacrificial" messiah character in this season, so cutting off his imprisonment in the lab short was a bad move. It would have solidified for us the torture that liquid man went through and how HORRIBLE humans are and shown the suffering monster's go through while making us BELIEVE that Hyun soo's martyr complex and his willingness to sacrifice himself even more. Although I rooted more the monsters in this season, I was still confused on who the 'REAL' baddie is. True humans are supposed to painted as the evil ones in this season but again who is truly evil? Yi kyoung daughter seemed pretty horrible to me to do that to her mom but I CAN understand why she did that to her mom. But again, who is evil here? Same with the doctor. Is he insane? Good/evil?

Bigger doesn't always mean better. What made season 1 so great was the focus on the characters and their struggles, in here the lack of clear direction makes the audience confused. Let's hope that season 3 will be released in the early half of 2024 (based on the interviews from the actors saying they filmed 2 and 3 together and the note at the end of season 2 ep 8.) Sad to say that alot of characters fell flat since their motivations weren't clear and the lack of interactions between the main cast members.

OMG THERE'S SO MUCH TO UNPACT THERE? Why is Hyun soo's eye like that? Now we know that it's not the gangster guy anymore since it's now the liquid monster possessing his body (even the actor Lee Jin Wook confirmed it in a recent interview and said his character died in season 1 plus he's acting like the liquid monster all psychopathic). I CAN'T WAIT 24 HOURS!

How’s the ending !! Is it good ending?
if you're talking about the huge ass cop, Cho Heon, who was chasing after him them hospitalized, then yeah he woke up and decided to "work" with he vigilante but let him go since HE TOO lost faith near the end. The reporter chick also lived and found out that Ji Yong is the vigilante since he saves her. His crazed obsessed fanboy Cho Kang Ok also lives and fought with him so yeah there's potential for season 2 for the duo to work together.

basically Ji Yong survives and takes down almost everyone but his friend found out he was the vigilante and dies for him since the reporter released an article saying that his friend was the vigilante to protect him. He graduates from the police academy but the main president is still out there and Ji Yong wants to hunt him down leaving it open for season 2!

What a banger of an ending! The perfect set up for a potential season 2! I didn't think I would like this as much as I did, but wow what a fantastic end! Fingers crossed for a season 2 when Nam Joo Hyuk finishes his military service. I haven't read the webtoon so I heard they changed some things but man I LOVED this ending. I really hope for a season 2. I have a new found appreciation for Nam Joo Hyuk.

So I'm mega confused... maybe because I skipped a few scenes here and there and haven't caught up to all the recent episodes, but WHO is the brother that she attended high school with and wanted to run away with? Is it Kang Bo Geol or Kang Wook Hak? I thought it was Wook hak due to his memory problems, his glasses and how they had such strong chemistry, but after watching Kang Bo Geol and how he was so obsessive in trying to make sure his brother, Wook Hak, doesn't get his memory, I'm confused. I'm a bit behind on a few episodes but I'm REALLY confused on who she originally went to school with. I personally ship her with Wook Hak but it seems like the drama is now moving towards Bo Geol to be her love interest. I was hoping for Wook Hak and Mok ha to be end game :( I'm very confused.

I must say that I wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as I have. It's a bit of a slow start but man does it start it kick in after the first 2 episodes. Although I do understand some lapses in plot holes and logic (for example how so many people figured out that Kim Yong is the Vigilante so quickly without proper explanation) I still think that this series is wonderful. I can forgive the slight lack of logic for the psychological tension and action.

I always downplayed Nam joo Hyuk as an actor since I've only seen him in 2 other dramas and never really thought anything of his acting but this show proved me totally wrong about him as an actor. So far this is his best role yet and I sincerely hope for a season 2 when he's done his service (I think he's about 10 months in so FINGERS crossed for a season 2 in the end of 2024 or beginning of 2025). If no season 2, it would be a darn shame. I personally think if they made this series 10 episodes instead t it would have been MUCH better to show more character background and explanation to clear out plot holes and possibly throw anything from the webtoon, but still FANTASTIC job to all the actors.

I've never read the webtoon but man I'm LOVING this. I would love to hear the differences from the webtoon but overall the music, acting and tension is a banger. It's gonna be one hell of a week for the finale. Here's to praying for season 2.
