Loved their portrayals of the characters here, the responsibilities of being a general / prince, their chemistry and love for eachother, but their being from opposite states creates a hinderance, they resolve the conflicts and renounce their titles . Both of them did a very well job. Two osts are also sung by them! This puts so much life into the characters. Made me feel like if two people are meant for eachother, no matter if they are in rival states, they will end up together.
I have nothing against Song Yi, her acting in this show improved quite a lot as compared to her other shows. But…
To have a position that is often dominated by males doesn't mean you have to be masculine or have a hoarse voice. I feel she portrayed the role very well and I can't imagine anyone else doing that
They make a perfect pair! Hope for a future collaboration from them. Song Yi is so pretty and she carried out the role of the general fabulously...someone who is bound in responsibilities, has to be cautious, yet loves their partner so deeply and has an understanding with them. Ryan Change also carried out the portrayal of the three characters very well as well as bringing them all into one. The story is written beautifully. Also, the leads have sung the two osts!!! That just brings so much more life to the characters. I think I am forever gonna remember them as Li Shuang and JIn'an/Aodeng. Felt a loss when it ended. Gonna rewatch it multiple times.
