Actors don’t get to dictate their onscreen partners, sometimes they might get asked their input but a lot of the time for projects like these, actors simply audition for roles and are chosen based on a combination of talent and their chemistry during scenes. Mac was his onscreen partner for Addicted Heroin and he was of legal consenting age when the show was filmed, had been working in the entertainment industry for 10+ years already and he also would’ve legally required parental consent to be a part of the production because yes, he was under the legal “age of majority” in Thailand, which doesn’t preclude him form portraying a character that has a love interest. And in addition to all of that; the show is rated 13+ and there are no NC scenes to speak of, the director specifically chose not to include NC or kissing scenes in the show and was open about this… which honestly begs the question of whether you actually watched Addicted Heroin or not?

Hua Yong tells Peanut that Wenlang has been given a reprieve from death row meaning that he was on death row without Gao Tu and now that he's found him again he has a reprieve. When he says that he won't die but that his fate now is worse than death because it's about faith and "thanks to Uncle Gao's magical breath keeping him alive" he's likely referring to Wenlang having faith in Gao Tu, needing to clear up any remaining misunderstandings and working for his forgiveness. The "magical breath" likely refers to his kiss or his life giving Wenlang life, like how Hua Yong doesn't want to live with Shaoyou.

Boun will be acting in this without Prem as well. I doubt they're playing BL roles though as this isn't specifically a BL show, it's a thriller that just might happen to have some BL/GL couples in it. Though they haven't confirmed that yet.
