Teacher's Diary

Both dramas show stories about teaching and love between teachers ;)

Il Mare was remade into an American Movie "The Lakehouse" and that is what I watched. Then I also watched Teacher's Diary. I felt similarities in both stories because it both tackles communications between a male and a female through written documents (in Il Mare, letters, in Teacher's Diary, the diary). There is also a longing for both couples in both stories. The only difference is that in Il Mare, it is kind of like a time travel element or something crossing between years. But in Teacher's Diary, its more of like, just alternating each other in the teacher's post, but it is in real time. In both movies, the male and the female leads meet in the end, thank god. But seriously, they have both the same feels when you watch them.

The feel to the movies are soo much similar! Both movies are soo lovable!!

Both are about a reluctant teacher to go to rural area to teach at the beginning. The story developed and he became liking the students and cutely loving the job and people

Both films are about two people who are soulsmates but never met. They get to know each other through an object left behind (a diary in one, a cassette tape in another) and trace each other’s steps while falling in love in the process.

Both involve the main leads at first reluctant then became emotionally involve in the children. Very sweet heartwarming story

Its both about a to-be teacher reading a previous teacher's diary, taking it as an inspirational guide and developing feelings for the owner of the diary.

Both are teacher from city went to rural area teaching a few of the cute and the cutest kids.
Their gentle hearts and souls make both very touching movies.
