In I saw the Devil a man is getting revenge from the serial killer who killed his wife and unborn child. In The Five a lady gets revenge from the serial killer who killed her family. Very similar plot but with different ways of getting the bad guy.

I Saw the Devil resembles Murderer Report in how it erases the boundary between justice and vengeance. Both explore the psychological corrosion that follows trauma, showing how the pursuit of retribution can become as destructive as the original crime, revealing how moral clarity dissolves under sustained pain and obsession.

Main characters seeking revenge after extremely inhumane violence is inflicted on their loved one. Not for the faint of heart.

they're both about psychopathic killers who murder people. both really good, with good story line, great actors, and acting. And they both have that dark gritty cinematic feel which will thrill all murder movie fans :)

Both movie has a psychopath. Very intense indeed. Very good acting overall. Murder, mysteries, complicated.

Both are dealing with serial killers though I saw the devil has a revenge element in it.
Both has Cat and Mouse game between them.
(I saw the devil is much more gory and Insepctor Koo doesnt contain it)
(Inspector koo's serial kerial K kills the targets in such a way that it appears as an accident)

Another revenge movie but this time about a father who will go to any length to avenge his daughter. While I Saw The Devil is rage induced and has your adrenaline pumping throughout, Broken is rage induced but more heart wrenching. Grab a box of tissues and a cup of tea rather than popcorn for this one.
