A Must-Watch for Every K-Drama Lover
Still my number one K-drama. It has almost everything I want in a drama action, romance, mystery, great chemistry and characters I genuinely cared about. Ji Chang Wook was fantastic as Healer, and his chemistry with Park Min Young is still one of my favorites. This is the drama I can compare others to, but very few come close.Was this review helpful to you?
Met my expectations completely
I haven't seen any other 'action kdramas' but i doubt any would come close to this one, its actually really good and pleasing to watch plus there is none of that unnecessary cliche stuff usually seen in dramas..to be honest i was expecting a really rushed and bad ending but im glad it didnt turn out like that.Was this review helpful to you?

Absolute Perfection!
A “night courier” with a hidden identity + a tabloid journalist who’s fascinated by him.Both surviving in their own ways.
Both suffering but hiding it from the world.
Both permanently affected by a past neither remembers.
Will their love bring healing or ruination?

The FL is so adorable & real. Her personality makes her a total anomaly to the ML but he can’t help being intrigued by her. She has such a passion for life & desire for justice. Her carefree attitude masks deep trauma, but her determination to not be ruled by the fear keeps her facing each new day with an admirable courage. Being raised by an amazing adoptive father & his merry band of reformed thugs gave her quite the unique childhood which shaped her into the quirky, feisty woman she is.
The ML is so protective & cute. The way he swaps from his dorky-clueless-cover-story self & his true take-charge-while-kicking-butt self is perfect! Raised by an honorary uncle in unconventional ways formed him into the cynical yet humorous man he became. His career keeps him from letting anyone close but that’s fine - he’s just biding his time as he saves enough money to buy a private island & retire.
Them together is pure awesome sauce. Their chemistry is legit 🔥 & their love so beautiful it makes us all jelly. 🫠 Despite all the mess & mysteries surrounding them, they never bend or let go of one another. They’re total couple goals with all the feels.
I loved the ways the ML handled learning how vi0lence triggers the FL & how he always worked to protect her from being exposed to it. And I loved how the FL refused to let him push her away when tragedy struck his world again. I loved their determination to get justice for their parents once they learned the truth of their shared childhood history. I loved the bond they both formed with the SML upon learning who he was to them. I loved all their interactions on their fall into love. I swooned for them so hard! And I laughed a ton because their crazy antics made them a hilarious duo at times 😂
A must watch for all kdrama fans! And that OST? Yessss!!!

Healer, a drama that won my heart
Healer is an excellent drama and one that gives me the most emotion throughout the drama. With a little air of the drama City Hunter, the plot is very well developed with the mixes of romances, family affairs, betrayals and especially action. The latter is also remarkable since the fight scenes are really epic and even memorable. It is also thanks to the latter that I was fully into the drama. The events then follow one another quite quickly.Concerning the characters, the duo Jeong Hu/Healer and Yeong Sin, played by Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young, is one of the biggest highlights of the drama. The actor Ji Chang Wook is SENSATIONAL and he is one of the big favorites as an actor and in the drama! As for Park Min Young, she confirms that she is still an excellent actress! Otherwise, I also got attached to the other character, namely Mun Hon (Yu Ji Tae). In terms of the OST, it perfectly matches the atmosphere of the drama. Everything you need to definitely love it!

One of those shows where the thriller-mystery serves the romance and the romance serves the mystery-thriller. I loved how both the FL and the ML weren't really motivated by revenge or justice but something as simple as closure. I loved the characters in this show and the subtle autism representation made me very happy. It's not very realistic but if I wanted realism, I would just touch grass.Was this review helpful to you?
'Healer' healed my Soul
This is the only time I've ever written a review about a show I liked. This is also the only show I never hit fast forward for even once. From start to finish Healer will grip you, pull at your heart, then heal you again. The acting is incredible and the chemistry between the ML and FL is phenomenal. The plot is non-stop and so well written, the action is fantastic and the characters all grow together. My only complaint is that it should have gone longer, it felt a bit rushed at the end even though everything tied up beautifully they could have stretched the last episode out to cover all the storylines of secondary characters. 10/10 would watch over and over again! I honestly don’t know why I waited so long to watch Healer, especially since I’m such a huge fan of Ji Chang wook. I saw it was leaving Netflix and thought, now or never, and I’m so glad I finally watched it because I absolutely LOVED it.It had everything, romance, action, suspense… and of course Ji Chang wook’s smile. The story kept me hooked from beginning to end, and the chemistry was incredible. The entire cast did an amazing job with their acting, and every character felt memorable.
Definitely one of those dramas I wish I could watch again for the first time and I just finished watching it.

The finale was so rushed I didn't feel they had any closure. I was waiting for more to happen, for people to get punished and actually see their punishment, for something more. Anything that would change my opinion of the show. Nothing of the sort happened, wished I had passed on this show early.

Best storyline

A big disappointment !
Whenever I was looking for a new drama to watch, I was never interested in this drama before. But I was intrigued after I saw that it has an 8,9 average rating here, on MDL... which is usually (IMPO) a good quality indicator about a show, unlike the Viki reviews that are a little bit less "selective".So, I started watching it. Really not what I expected. It's moving very slowly and doesn't make much sense to me. The acting is terrible. I couldn't watch more than 3 episodes.
I give it a 5 out of respect for the cast and crew. Thank you for your efforts.
