In the early morning, Princess Shan Yin wakes up with amnesia and finds a man named Rong Zhi beside her. Concerned, they summon the imperial physician who diagnoses her with temporary memory loss due to brain congestion. Wanting to see the emperor, she's reminded of her bloodstains by her maidservant, which angers her. After scolding her maid, she dismisses her. Rong Zhi notices her strange behavior. Unbeknownst to them, the real Princess Shan Yin has been replaced by an impostor from the Vermilion Bird faction.

How can the Menkes not see that their princess is not her?They are blind to the fact that she has forgotten everything about herself and the palace because she is not the real princess. The real one died, and the fake one might be a mermaid or some kind of water deity or water creature or someone from the past that was trapped, and only another one can replace her.
