Kagiya Shino is the daughter of the president of "Kajiya Foods", a long-established confectionery manufacturer and is currently working in the company under the PR department. Shino's father arranged a political marriage and has Shino engaged to Tachibana Hajime, an aces in the Sales department. Based on his looks, personality, qualifications, Tachibana seems to be a perfect fiancé, but three years have passed since their engagement, and Shino is still frustrated by the lack of progress beyond a kiss. One day, a new employee, Hanazawa Yui, is assigned to the Sales department, and Shino feels a stirring in her chest when she sees Tachibana interacting with Yui as her supervisor.

Onuma Mihono works at a travel agency. After breaking up with her boyfriend of six years, someone she had been thinking about marriage with, she realizes she is already 30.
