The movie plot is about a rich boy who loves a poor girl. The love story starts in high school. The story shows the ups and downs of their relationship.
As my first Chinese movie, this movie holds a different place. When I finished watching it, my mind had many "whys." Among all the "whys," my favourite one was:
Why does she want a peaceful and quiet life, when the main male lead is ready to give her so much more?
The lead character's actions were not understandable to me at that age. I like this movie because it made me think and question the behaviour of the characters, which was a good amount of fun to explore.
Only years later did I reach my conclusion.
She never asked for more. As a person, he is more than she wants to handle. She never wants something from him that she feels she can never repay. The love she was receiving felt far heavier than she could hold.
She loved his actions, more like his efforts than what he affords— As a person, the male lead is rich, hotheaded, and loves her in every way he can.

He loved her in every way he could — but not in a way she could feel and understand.
She loves him, but not the same way he loves her.


In my opinion, the temple scene at the end is where she finally realised, felt, and understood his love and herself.
And that, to me, is what this movie quietly teaches — love is not only about giving and receiving. It is about understanding and feeling understood, seeing the other person without filters, and accepting them as they truly are

Trouble life of female character ,as she is poor and her father is ill and despite all sub problem she gather her strength and get admiration in top school and for this her parent spend their whole life earning ..So her moto is to achieve her goal so that she become a support system for her family ..Her life in new school is ok not so bad and not so good because she had lost her father (which didn't show in movie ,so I confused that why she is crying and hiding herself so after watching I read the synopsis of a movie then I came to know) then due to some reason she get apart from lead male character ,after some they meet and they reunion but again some problem started between them and be asked her in this 6 years I am catching you ,loving you and never allowed you to go away from me but did you once in this 6 years love me,did you love me and she turned her back and cried a lot and he says ,let's break up ....What is this ,already seen that they both love them eachother so much then why she didn't said him that she also love him alot and they separate ,he went to USA and she was just passing her time and then oe day she went to temple and write sone wish to the book and suddenly she remembered that when they both of them came to temple last time ,so he also wrote something on a wish notebook so in curious what he wrote she ran back towards the temple and ask for wish book at that time so she found in few pages he written something which is same and she started cried (those words were not subtitle so from synopsis I came to know those words were her name).Then she flew to USA and when she saw him from some distance she said something to herself and run back and didn't neet him and movie over......I said yo myself "What is this",this is a end ...What is the meaning of the end and then in youtube I had seen a deleted scene of this drama which shown that she saw him with the fragrant lady and she thought he move on and she run back to Shanghai but he saw her running and he also came back to Shanghai and told her she married with someone else and he already helping her to get in the car and then after listening this she cried and hug him and story is over .So I don't understand why this is deleted scene ,why this the director donot add at in the movie ?Is he thinking to make a second part of this movie ? If this is so then ok but if not then it is totally incomplete story .....

WE DO DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE

As for the music I guess it was good. I saved it on my playlist (LOL).
For the plot: It was well executed and I think the movie show how relationship in reality (we broke up and made up).
CONCLUSION: There are times that we thought it's enough and that's it. What I learn from the movie is that there is no such thing as fairy tale that has a happy ending. They learn to love but there are things that they need to choose in order to grow as a person.
REWATCH: I THINK I WILL WATCH IT AGAIN IN THE FUTURE^___^

hated the ending

I don't often have a reason to hate official endings to movies, but this one, yes, I hated it.

I've never seen such a horrible lack of gratitude from a female lead in my life. Or any person, for that matter. If you are in a relationship with someone, LET THEM HELP YOU WHEN YOU NEED IT. She pretty much spits in his face with her bravado of "I can do it on my own," but actually, "no, you can't, because you have to borrow money from everyone except your boyfriend." And she really acted like a prostitute there, I thought, coming on to him when she gave him the IOU. She seriously cheapened herself and treated his 6-year love as if it meant nothing to her. I couldn't be on her side at all at the end. Her pride was foolish and arrogant and ugly.

I watched the deleted scene ending. And in the end, he's still chasing her. She's such a pathetic coward who still gets her happily ever after. Help.

The only reason I didn't rate the film lower is because it is very pretty, Zheng Cheng is a doll, and I didn't hate Yunjin Su until about 3/4 of the way through the film. I'll still never watch it again.

So if you want drama ,romantic ,thrills and very emotional movie watch it .
Very great but i think most of the people don't like natural ending even me .
But it is wonderful any way :) .
So please watch it and write your review .
You won't regret .
The most beautiful thing is his infinity love to her even she don't like him at least .
There is great moments and also bad , but it is life .
So what about talking about that i didn't read the novel but i think it will be very great .
So i advice you to see the movie first then read the novel like me .
I am going to read it in the mid year holiday ;) .

This story begins with them in high school and evolves through the years .The main leads face different issues to keep their relationship together. 24 months is the code of their meet.There is obviously a second lead and for the first time I did not like the second lead , I mean in the beginning he was really good but he is the kinda who gets what he wants so that really showed the other side of him. The male lead has trust issues so you can already see where the story is going.
The female lead never tried to hold on to their relationship that lead to misunderstandings and great blunders.
I loved how it began I was expecting a really nice story but the same things kept happening that is why it got really boring. It had a lot of real life truth in though but i was really disappointed.

If you like sweet and cute romantic love-stories, you must definitely give it a try.. It has a few emotional scenes too, but the main thing is that it has a lovely happy ending.. It is a story about two classmates who met in high school and fell in love, however, some circumstances drifted them apart, but nevertheless they loved each other truly and at the end they reunite. One important thing to note is that if you choose to watch it on youtube, you need to watch the ending separately as some videos don't have the actual one.

Just finished watching this and I have to say that it could have been way better. Our main characters first meet when he accidentally douses her with water and she is wary of him because he is rich. Long story short, they wind up having the type of high school romance anyone would consider forgettable in real life.

This film tries to make us believe that theirs is a great love story worth fighting for, but it's not. Our hero is cold and looks stiff during those kissing scenes and our heroine really doesn't like him at all. He just doesn't get it. There was very little buildup to the romance. The added side plots don't really help the story. Both of them behave immaturely and the ambiguous ending was frustrating. I had to search for deleted scenes on YouTube that should have wrapped up the ending.

A bit fast paced but their fitting a decade into 1 and a half + hours

I guess I have a thing for watching stuff that makes me feeling like my heart got stepped on. And I guess it was an okay movie if it got a reaction out of me. It's not perfect by far, but it's still good. Also, get ready for some push-pull relationship issues. I also usually hate movies with endings like this has but it felt right and made sense in the context of the story and it also went with the over all mood of the rest of the movie. I was impressed for the most part because I didn't have high expectations to begin with. This story was a lot more then what I imagined and is felt very normal. like some problems people would encounter. Admittedly this movie has a bit of a special place in my heart because it was one of the first Chinese movies I watched and because it made me emotional and I have rewatched it probably two more times. Happy (?) watching :)
