Supernatural element to solve muders. In signal, the use of the radio to solve cold cases. In cheo yong, the use of ghosts to solve murders, some that happened some time in the past with only the ghosts around as proof and other murders that have just happened. Both series highly recommended, although season 2 of cheo yong is much better!

Both are dealing with serial killers though Signal has a Sci-Fic element in it.
Both have action, suspense, thriller elements.
If you like Signal, try Inspector Koo and there is good chance you would like it.

Both shows focus on cases that have occurred a few ages ago but have never been solved. Both have many cases that are solved throughout the show, with a main focal case in the background.

Both the dramas have some relation in the supernatural happenings. Where as in Signal regarding the messages with the past and in Cheo Yong in relation to the ghosts. Both focus on solving crimes in the society.

Both dramas are of supernatural genre, connecting two time -present and past - to solve cases, revealing missing connections between different ppl. Both dramas have badass female leads. Worth watching. Fighting.

+ Both dramas are extremely well connected crime dramas where the cases are linked to the characters on a personal level.
+ both thematize the psychological aspect => While in Signal the psychological aspect is more debated and analyses, in Burning Ice you can really see psychological methods being used.
+ Both dramas show very well character development.
+ both are connected to past events

If you enjoy the cases in Signal you are bound to enjoy Burning Ice.

Watching this reminded of two dramas one of them is signal, both are about seriel murderer during early times when technology wasn't advanced and it was different finding the evidence

In both kdramas the theme is used: Money is power.
Both deal with corruption and murder. Somehow Signal ended for me where the story of The K2 might start.
2 of the best kdramas that got released in 2016
definitely a must watch!

If you liked the mistery/otherworldly/law part in this drama, signal is a very good option for a new drama to watch! It has a very complex a nd deep story that starts with 3 police officers (2 from the present and 1 from the past) that try to solve cold murder cases. It has just a little bit of romance and comedy but it is a very thrilling to watch how different actions change the future ^^
