Each episode deals with a different girl facing some important choices that may change their outlook. Also, Kato Rosa plays in both of them. Altough "Ketsuekigatabetsu Onna ga Kekkon Suru Hoho" is more light and comedy oriented both doramas are really slice of life.

One day, all of a sudden, Misaki, the number one hostess of a club in Roppongi becomes a high school teacher! Of all classes, she is appointed as the homeroom teacher for Class 2Z, a special class for the troublemakers at the school. But, with her positive power, she takes the students head-on, without ever giving up!

Very similar theme.... 1. focusing on a promising highschool girl turned hostess 2. then being bullied jealous by colleagues 3. little by little gains respect from customers, her boss, and colleagues becoming a star in her workplace. 4. main protagonist turns out to be the savior of the club (in various situations) she is working at. on the flipside..... 1. Jyouou Virgin have AV idols as casts thus the exposing of nude scenes is a plus while Jotei is somewhat on the conservative side (no av idols). 2. Jyouou Virgin focuses on a highschool girl who wants to be love and accepted in society joins a competition of cabaret girls gathered around Japan in run for the prize money, while Jotei focuses on highschool girl who decided to be a Jotei (Empress) - top cabaret sort of legendary title, in order to take revenge to the people who have money and power who steps on the poor for fun.

Both main characters are trying to raise to the top of the Host/Hostess world. Jotei is a little "dirtier" or "grittier" than Giragira.

Both stories are different, but the gisaeng house part in Gu Family Book is really similar to Ayaka's fight so for those who like it, you could give it a try!
