The best family drama

I came across this drama when I was randomly listening to Korean drama OSTs. From the first episode till the last one, everything was well written. The main leads were awesome but the only thing was maybe they should have coupled up a bit earlier. I found it a bit frustrating that the ML was playing too hard to get. He knows the FL is pursuing him but he still acted like he only cares about his crush. And I must say this, I really love the grandpa. He really played his role well and the love he has for the ML is unconditional. Luckily, this drama has no female or male villain. Every character learned their mistakes at the end of the episode.

this was my first long drama ever

i really enjoyed so much till ep. 24
then i saw it was too long and detailed without no need
when the story should be detailed it doesn't and when it should be fast it doesn't
starting from ep. 40 i watched it on the fast forward button :/


i was interested so much at the side stories for
ji soo & jung joon, i found his character was so cute really but they passed fastly on their story,
which really bothered me much
and same on han se with sun woo the new employee

for a long drama with 45 ep. many things was open at the end which was really provoking
too much time wasted in
begging and persuading the grand father to do the surgery
and too much quarreling between min jung and her mother in law

and about the grandfather sickness and how he continued
this was really Underestimating minds for me and
wasn't logical at all

they could really make this drama superior
if the writer avoided this much useless details

i like they idea and i expected much more depth in the plot
may be that's the main reason i became frustrated :(

I'd sure love to know what so many people love about this dumb despicable drama? You have our main male lead's ass(donkey) of a mother that is constantly so whiny all the time, oh, did I mention super controlling, overbearing, and over protective? A father that's as conniving and shallow and despicable as they come.You have an ex-husband who's just a prick of a shallow, despicable no good for nothing jack-ass that just doesn't know when to let go, and his mother, don't get me started on his mother. A hospital director who's a low scum of the earth selfish coward with no spine to stand on. And you have his daughter that needs an absolute most terrible and despicable attitude. Other than our love birds, what is there to like about this drama. Oh, before I go on, ass is old English for donkey. I watch dramas to feel good, not become angry, annoyed, disgusted and livid. Thank you to the writers for an awesome job at not knowing how to write drama's... I give the acting/cast a 5 just for the grandfather, our love birds, Jung In's sister and brother and his girl, the rest can just blow it out of their ear!!! Music was awesome. Rewatch? 0... I only give it a two for the love shown throughout what I've seen already, this is SOOOOO dropped!!!

Last 2009 I think was the last time I've watched this drama, that time I remember that I was totally hooked by it but then I wasn't able to watch it completely because I had school days and I was only watching it in our local channel dubbed by our local language. So after almost 8 years I'm so glad I've rewatched it and it is totally my topmost favorite korean drama! I love the story which revolves around the 2 families and each of them I must say were all interesting and enjoyable to watch because of their personalities and stories to tell. It is so good to watch a drama about family and second chances that is well mixed with laughters, sad moments and romantic yet comically executed. I like it thay drama shows how each characters change gradually for the better and some of the situations were relatable in reality that is why you get to feel as if your not watching a drama beacuse you feel it. Then there's the main couple whom I totally enjoyed the chemistry, their quarrels, sweet moments were so cute that you found yourself thinking that the thought of dating isn't actually that bad if the person is like kang hyun soo's character.haha. So all in all I will give this drama a super thumbs up! I hope korea will make more dramas with those kind of natural and interesting stories that is very inspirational and enjoyable that is well played by good actors. Thank you kdramas for giving goodvibes throughout the years.

Ли Мин Чжон в роли Чжон Ин – настоящее украшение сериала. Ее героиня развивается на протяжении всей истории, превращаясь из избалованной девушки в зрелую женщину. Чон Гён Хо также отлично справляется с ролью Кан Хён Су – его персонаж вызывает симпатию благодаря своей искренности и доброте. Второстепенные герои, особенно старшее поколение, добавляют сериалу глубины и юмора.

🎶 Музыка: 7.5/10
Ост (саундтрек) соответствует настроению дорамы, но не слишком запоминающийся. Однако он хорошо передает атмосферу романтики и семейного уюта.

Сериал довольно длинный (45 эпизодов), но если любишь теплые семейные истории, можно пересмотреть ради атмосферы и химии главных героев.
