While Xin Yu is sewing her torn wedding dress at home, Wang Zhi persuades her to give up on Zheng Hao. As Ming Sheng calls to remind, the mother and daughter come across news reports on the Tang family, which are in favor of them. As Wang Zhi sees it, the commentary on the news is a malicious attack towards the mother-daughter pair. Feeling angry, Wang Zhi turns off the television, and she insists that Xin Yu give up on Zheng Hao. She even tries to throw away the wedding dress in Xin Yu's hands.
