Loved Fluke and Mild in this though. They're always amazing. The rest of the cast were very competent and made sure their presence was known and that made me happy. I just personally would not recommend this movie.

First off, the acting. It's incredible Fluke does such an exceptional job at playing an innocent boy. Then he flips real quick to passionate, hypersexual psycho. I love it. Next, the storyline: it's not bad. A little explicit? Yes. Ending confusing? Yes. However, it's not a cliche, the story is original and balances well between supernatural and normal. It was a little frustrating never finding out whether Night/Nam was a vampire or not (and I wanna see more of his origin story), but hands down one of the best BL films I've seen!Seriously, check it out!

WHAT DID I JUST WATCH? lolol
What in the low budget porn Twilight is this?? It was a never ending cringe fest filled with horrible acting, god awful writing, and some abysmal plot lololThe worst BL...and series in general.....I've ever seen. It's SO bad that it's kinda funny.
PLOT: The movie starts with Wine's creepy ass smile (you'll see it every 10min or so lolol) as he look obsessively over his "straight" boyfriend Tee. They have sex immediately...and 10 seconds later Tee starts the "it was just sex, I'm not gay" speech. Wine gets into a deep but short-lasting depression. Tee's best friends are a bunch of jocks who decide to humiliate Wine even further by pulling a prank on him. They said Tee regretted his decision to break up and was waiting for him in this creepy abandoned building (oooh come on!!!).
Of course the poor soul waited the entire day and Tee never showed up. He was too busy "having fun" with his friends....ignoring the fact that he is indeed gay. But, when Wine finally decides to give up on waiting after hours, he hears an eerie cry for help. Basically everything in this movie is an obvious DON'T DO IT type of situation......but guess what? They all fucking do it lololol
Wine finds this weird looking dude that is a mix of a Wish version of Edward with a splash of 20s Dracula with the widow's peak. Yeah.....you read it right. And of course the second thing Wine does is let this stranger suck his blood and they fall in love. Like, who wouldn't? lolol And it all goes downhill from there. All the way down....
CHACARTER / ACTING:
- Wine (Fluke) is a basically an obsessed psychotic twink throughout the whole movie. That's his gig. And serving a creepy smile for no good reason. His character is based on his relationship with 3 guys and how far is he willing to go for the sake of "love" (which only lasts a few moments with him lol)
- Night: Our weird vamp that, in the end proves himself to be very ungrateful lol
All the actors were pretty bad in this, not gonna lie. Not even one redeemable thing about this whole movie. If you wanna watch just for the weirdness...have at it. But it is pretty bad lol

I mean...Come on? Really? What the hell was that even supposed to be?
Notes:
*Terrible sex scenes*cringe*
*Porn without plot & it wasn't even good porn. Oh no! Because if it was good porn then I might have just accepted that it fulfilled it's intended purpose. I mean, nobody watches porn for the plot now do they? But it couldn't even get that right.
The problem was that the sex scenes were god awful! & I mean really really bad & the kissing.... well that was even worse.
*Total cheese! Ridiculously corny.
*No chemistry between characters.
*Just weird & cringe worthy.
I can't believe I just wasted a couple of hours of my life watching this.

For starters this movie was really weird, but it's a good weird. Though I was angry at Wine the entire time (watch it a you will know why) and his smile bothers me for some reason. It's just really creepy to me.The whole time I constantly wanted to smack Wine for *spoiler* playing 3 guys and *another spoiler* tying Tee and Boy up for blood.
And know for the ending. The ending is confusing and I have a few things on what the ending actually was. Either Wine actually died in jail because Tee was a snitch and told (I don't blame him) the police and friends what actually happened to him. At the end when Night said "You've been holding that for a long time" (something like that) and Wine said "I hope it would bring you back to me." (Close enough to what he said) so knowing he said that I think Night never actually came back yet because Wine was holding the guitar hoping it would bring Night back to him, but I don't actually know the ending is confusing like I said.
Overall it's a good movie is you actually think about the situation Wine was in. Wine didn't want Night to die, but he did take it too far to get blood.

While the theme is vampire it is more of a thriller than drama.
The originality of the story has to be the main selling point. Usually these stories do not develop in this fashion.
The story is very followable and flows from start to finish.
The only thing that needed improvement is a little more development of the Night character.
Overall an enjoyable, strange story.

The movie was weird, and has a unique plot but I could say it is worth watching especially those who love thriller..
Yes, I am saying it is a thriller but in the end, I end up crying.Well, i have shallow tears for sure but I feel them. It shows love in different kinds and character.
The acting is pretty great. I did not expect Fluke to act the way he did as Ive seen him act on BL Series with shyness and sweet character.
I love "Night's" eyes.. Its red which I imagine it as being fierce for a vampire character but it's innocent.
Over all for me it is a good movie and I love the soundtracks. I would not rewatch it though not because it is not worth rewatching but I would love a remake for a much more in-depth thrills for this movie.

Night gave a spooky and sexy kind of vibe which brought the movie a certain kind of aesthetic feel. But the ending doesnt do justice to movie though.
Did wine die?
Did night become a ghost ?
How come they let him carry a guitar into prison ? Lol that's just my weird mind speaking anyway
If you like a dark story with thriller feels
I think you would like this film. It was good .

Ok, when I saw that Fluke was in this, because I loved him in UWMA, I was like, "I need to watch this." I liked the beginning , but after the first few minutes I started to feel different about this movie. When the guy, (don't remember his damn name) tells Wine that Boy wants to meet him in the "abandoned" building, I felt like Wine should've known. I also didn't like Wine and Night's relationship that much. I get it, he's a vampire, which wasn't that hard to believe because of the eyes, but wow. It was an instant relationship, almost. Within 3 minutes of meeting Night, Wine is already offering up blood, like damn. I did like the different aspect of Wine being completely psychotic. That was great. But the fact that he was so willing to get blood for Night, I just, idk.
The ending also confused me, quite a lot. But that is all I will say, in this spoilery review.

Although there are some light moments, Red Wine in the Dark Night is really a dark, erotic, and twisted movie about love and obsession. (In yaoi terms, one of those psychological mangas that you can't seem to stop reading aha!). There's just something so enticing about how twisted and f-ed up it is, as horrible as it sounds.
In my opinion, I believe that the goal of this movie was to portray the complexity of love, how it can be used for manipulation, how it can be taken for granted, and how it can lead to obsession or that "I would do anything (i mean literally anything) for you" trope. And this is quite clear in Wine (Fluke) and his relationships, most especially with Night (Fuhrer) the vampire he oh so loves.
The flow of the movie always manages to leave you thinking "What the hell am I watching?", not to mention how intense the kissing is in this movie during the more erotic scenes (The sex isn't necessarily explicit though).
However, I just felt like the story flow could have been better, I don't know, I just felt like some parts of it moved too quickly, or maybe it was the director's intention? Or am I just looking into this movie too much? (lol)
The acting was good, but Fluke (Wine) really stole the show as the main character. The other actors fell short at some moments, but their acting was pretty solid.
Overall, it's a good/okay movie if you like those "Deep" movies that gets you thinking a lot after it ends. A lot of people think this movie is weird, and yes it is, but it's weird on purpose and if you do watch this, you really gotta take note of all the details while watching it and piece it together yourself because you may just have a different interpretation of this movie! Because, I have my own theories of the story, but of course, I won't spoil it in this review hehe~
