Ice Fantasy Episode 2 Reactions
As a previous review said the green screens are really obvious, I may have fast forwarded the battle screen... it was not the greatest. I mean, I can appreciate the beautiful costumes and weapon design, but the green screen kinda ruined it.
There wasn't anything especially bad or good in this episode, there are parts I would have done differently, eg; in the ocean scene the music should have been louder then the water noise. But overall it ended with an 'alright' feeling.
Story wise?
Omg. I knew that concubine was fishy. I mean first off her hair is black which doesn't fit with most of what I've Sen in the Ice kingdom. Secondly her son could manipulate fire (I think). I bet he's the fire kings son and she cheated on him. The dates match up. Ahhh!
Who killed the fire Prince? At first I thought his dad killed him as an excuse to rage war.. but I don't know. I wouldn't put it past him.
However, when the visuals are bad they are BAD. Not to mention this weird bubble/dome affect that hurts my poor eyes. You know it's all pretty much green screen, but the actual sets are very well done. You can feel the LOtR vibes.
However, the writing and acting leaves soooooo much to be desired. Especially the dialogue. I'll stick it out for my obligatory 2 episodes, maybe a bit more. But I don't even think my genuine curiosity can make me stick to this long.
