Ice fantasy has an amazing sound track the romance portion of the show is great excellent infact.
The acting of the leads is good whereas the acting of some minor characters leaves much to be desired
Can't stand the mermaid princesses personality at all quite an annoying character.
The pacing of the show is very slow. Now I know the more episodes the slower shows usually develop as they go along but it feels like it crawls at a snails pace. It also feels like the show is lacking, I can't get emotionally invested in the leads because honestly I don't feel I know enough about them, nor have I been through enough with them. While I understand I'm not very far through at the time of writing this.. with each ep being around 38 min when you exclude intro and outro I think atleast by episode 6 they should be growing on me by now.
Now I'm not gonna comment much on the visual effects in the show because for me it doesn't really bother me though they look obviously fake same with the creatures / animals in the show.
I love the costumes and scenes in the show they are absolutely beautiful. Though it does bother me some of the hair its quite obvious are wigs but thats a minor detail. The music works perfectly with each scene and is absolutely beautiful to listen to.
Now will I drop the show? Im not sure yet I'm going to give it some more time I think.
But would I ever rewatch it if I do finish it? Most likely not, or I'd atleast skip the first 10 episodes to speed things up. But watch every single second of it from the beginning again? Never honestly never.
I do think its worth giving a shot because it does have a lot of potential and the story itself isn't too bad. It is interesting its just slow and hard to get emotionally invested in.
