Uncontrollably Fond

I feel like the family situations in these dramas are very similar.
Also the love lines resemble each other.
There's also a hint of mystery and crime solving in each where the hero acts in the same way though not through the same methods.

Eun Soo is a pure but unsophisticated woman who runs a small resort inn with her father. Eun Soo is just an ordinary girl, but her life changes when she meets a man who's completely lost his memory. She takes him in and cares for him, and even gives him a name: "Baek Chang Ho". Love blossoms, and soon wedding bells can be heard.
But on the night of their wedding ceremony, Eun Soo's father passes away. And soon after, Chang Ho disappears too! In the blink of an eye, the two people Eun Soo loves most in the world have left her. Spring Waltz and Uncontrollably Fond are both tragic romances rooted in childhood trauma and fate, but they approach heartbreak in very different ways. Spring Waltz is quiet and atmospheric, using an island childhood, open landscapes, and soft music to create a sense of isolation and gentle longing. (spoiler) 2 people who knew other from high school fell in love then faced a tragedy at the end. One of the leads had cancer and die in their lover's arms.

The main male lead is predicted to die and the the main female is a bright women is brought down by her circumstances. Resistance to love and the solving of problems together.

Both are great romantic comedies.

Its similar as the male lead is in the entertainment industry. Male and female lead went to the same school, grew up in the same neighbourhood. The height difference. The difference is that uncontrollably fond is melo, sad and tragic , lovely runner is cute and time travelling but also sad and some type of tragic.

these two are the same because in UF he is told he will die, he does anything in his power to get the girl he wants. I haven’t watched IGMFLTY but i think you will like UF if you liked IGMFLTU.
