Xin Er finds herself in Li Wei Young’s room. They exchange stories and become good friends. While Wei Young collects wood in a nearby hill, a man sent by Madam Chiyun attacks her, killing her in the process. In the meantime, the party sent by Old Madam arrives at the caretaker’s house to bring Wei Young back to the Prime Minister’s Manor. Xin Er decides to go in Wei Young’s stead. (Source: Viu)
