Hachimitsu to Clover Episode 7 Reactions
This episode is about farewell, and how one would cope with it, make it meaningful and spend the time with the your close ones.
For me, it was also about not getting the things you want, but making do with living the moment.
Spoiler below
There was just something indescribable about Hagu crying to Shuu because of not finding the clover, and Shuu saying "You've given me enough already". Shuu refers to the experiences and the joy of having time spent together.
This one is a bit of a stretch, it's just my personal inferences.
When Hagu first left her village, Shuu promised that she would find friends, share artwork with peers... At the time of watching that scene, it felt that was so false. Hagu was alienated in the earlier episodes, and really the only thing she did with her artwork is display it at exhibitions with everybody praising her. Same goes with failing to find the clover. In the end, it doesn't matter, as she still made friends, and spent such a nice time with them.

I really like the lesson that this episode was trying to tell people; have a goal with a purpose. It was a good episode, but I'm starting to miss all the humor and romance from the first few episodes. The last two eps were good, but I wanted to watch this drama, because it seemed lighthearted and romantic, not some deep personal growth drama, which is good too, but not where I thought the drama was heading.
