This was one of the Thai dramas I looked forward to upon the trailer’s release because apart from the familiar actors, it was a remake of my favorite Goong.The production was grand and it was great. The set is great, the palace looks nice. There were also things they added in/modified like the scent/perfume thing which is nice.
The male lead was a believable enough crown prince, alongside the other royalties. What irked me was the female lead’s seemingly forced antics. The leads were okay visually though, and they can manage to deliver tension-filled scenes. But still I feel that as the series progressed it became a disappointment. Somehow the cast’s acting became flat and monotonous. Too bad though. The production and the premise was promising.
