Hong-nan, watching Da-hye calmly laughing while relating a painful childhood memory, struggles to contain her sadness. Yi-yeon, standing at the water's edge, at a loss with her schedule having been canceled by force, makes Hong-nan restless and falls into the water as Suk-chul approaches to threaten her. Hong-nan seeing this leaps into the water without hesitating. Meanwhile, Hae-joon is quizzical after discovering a message from X inside another fortune cookie, and Han-na, leaving a note saying she wants to see her dad in front of Young-soo's portrait, suddenly disappears.
