However, Man Geum says he has something to do on his own and promises Dae Gil they will meet again later. Meanwhile, Che Gun tries to kill Lee In Jwa, as ordered by King Sukjong. Lee In Jwa, acquitted, reads strange signs and aims to escape, but is caught by Che Gun. Che Gun is about to cut Lee In Jwa, but thanks to Dam Seo's arrow, Lee In Jwa narrowly escapes death.
