Prince Yeoning entreats King Gyeongjong to spare the lives of the Noron ministers. But King Gyeongjong, saying he has no intention of forgiving the Noron ministers for their traitorous schemes, firmly rejects him. In the end, the Noron ministers, including Kim Chang Jib are sentenced to execution by beheading. Prince Yeoning despairs at the death of the Noron ministers who believed in and followed him. Meanwhile, Dae Gil, at the same time as confirming Lee In Jwa's plan for rebellion against King Gyeongjong, looks for the other half of the rebels, Pak Pil Hyeon.
