W Episode 9

Folding A Plot Inside Out

This is the most contrived piece of work I've watched in a long time. I was prepared to suspend my logic because, well heck, from the 1st episode I couldn't help thinking in my head, "I ought to be singing 'Take On Me'.. someone must have caught a glimpse of that 80s MV from A-Ha and decided it was worth making a series out of..." problem is that it has about as much development of characters and plot as the MV, which as you know, isn't much at all. Trying to move this thing forward without a full plot concept from the outset has now required the writer to go beyond the realm of suspended logic to completely absurd and tragic. You know this was going to happen when you got so many sweet kisses right from the onset. A writer thinking that these things will cover for the lack of plot. I remember a lot of the hype when this came out, so I guess to some extent the writer was right... but that only gets you so far, then people relax and once that happens the questions come out... starting with:

"What is the point here???? Where are we going with this???? Because I'm not following it very well."

Nem ruim, nem memorável.

O drama não é ruim, apenas não é bom. Entendo o ano em que foi produzido e talvez, para aquela época, eu até gostasse mais. Ainda assim, não acho justo limitar ou justificar uma obra apenas pela data em que foi lançada.A direção e a cinematografia poderiam, sim, ser melhores. O enredo tem suas falhas, mas também apresenta bons momentos. No entanto, assistir a algo que não é agradável aos olhos ou que causa certo incômodo acaba prejudicando a experiência como um todo.Considerando a temática de dois mundos, é natural que surjam conflitos entre os protagonistas, especialmente quando um acaba se sacrificando pelo outro. Como gosto de dramas mais melancólicos, apreciei essa parte em que um se lembra enquanto o outro não, e ambos precisam conviver juntos mesmo assim.Não tenho grandes ressalvas, mas também não tenho grandes elogios. No fim, é apenas um drama razoável.
